"The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was great! lots of options. The cleanliness of the room was good, there was some dust on the bottom of the lamps and on the counter in the bathroom. the carpeted floor could have been cleaned a bit better. It appeared that the vacuum needed to be emptied. We did not like the soft lighting in the room. It seems that other hotels are also going to the softer lighting. We would stay there again. "

"The representatives at the front desk were very friendly and attentive. The bartender, who also waited on tables in the restaurant was fantastic. We ate there several times and he went above and beyond to make our meals special. I wish I could remember his name. We will definitely be back."

"The tops of the lamp shades were dusty. The staff at the front desk were not as friendly as some places. The restaurant staff was friendly. I was able to walk to campus which was good."

"The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was, "meh." A lot of clutter & trash around the property. Inner courtyard was nice. Room was acceptable, needed painted and some furniture was stained. Bed was comfortable and clean. Ice machine was out of order, vending machine was out of order (signs on both). Price was right and I would probably stay again if I was by myself."

"We had only one issue.I called yesterday to check my reservation and they told me that it was confirmed, but when we went to do the check in the front desk told me that my reservation was canceled because of a third party did the cancellation, so they gave me another room.Other than that everything else was okey. "This is really an excellent value for a budget hotel near the highway. The room was clean and everything was in good condition. The staff was helpful and friendly. There was a surprisingly wide variety of items at their breakfast buffet which included a few hot items. We're unlikely to pass through Hillsville again, but we would not hesitate to stay here if we do so."
