"The hotel was quiet and clean. We were pleasantly surprised by the little extras - cookies, bottled water, and chocolate bars in goodie bags upon arrival, complimentary ice cream treats, iced coffee bar, and soup in the afternoon and evenings. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. We would definitely stay again!"

"Very clean facility and helpful staff. A continental breakfast with coffee was offered daily, and healthy snacks 24/7. Motel is a short walk into Bar Harbor with many restaurant options, also home base to the Island Explorer shuttle system. My daughter and I were able to get around without a car. No pool or other outdoor facilities, which was the only downside."

Acadia Ocean View Hotel

Acadia Ocean View Hotel

8/10 Good
"Overall, the motel is very nice. It's a little older but everything seemed to be clean and in good working order. The motel is about 4 or 5 miles from Bar Harbor which, for us, was perfect. Bar Harbor is a very busy little town and at the end of the day we were glad to leave it behind. Most rooms have an outdoor balcony or sitting area looking over the trees into the water, which is several few hundred yards away. There is a nice little pool, we didn't use it, but we saw many people enjoying themselves. We arrived early and were greeted by a very friendly front desk person who let us leave our bags behind the counter so we could venture into Bar Harbor. We never saw that person again. The person we saw afterwards was not very friendly and only answered questions with a yes or a no, it might have been just a grunt. I would stay here again but my wife is not so sure about that."
