Disappointed and overcharge

My booking did not show at the hotel and we had to wait 2 hours in the lobby before we were provided with a room. I provided the proof of paying by but the hotel wouldn’t accept it. We only got to our room at 23:30. It was simply exhausting. The room is old, dirty and worn out. It is in poor condition and at $91 it has no correlation with what you pay for what you get.

Excellent accomadation

From the moment we stepped into the receiption, we were greeted with a big smile and a very friendly welcome. Check-in was fast. Our room was very comfortable. We enjoyed a relaxing afternoon at the pool side with hot beverages. The waitress was very friendly. All in all a wonderful stay.

I stopped over in Bloem for the night enroute to EC.. from about 22:00 until 03:00 in the morning the person in the room next door had the music soooo loud I could not sleep. At first I was convinced there was a club nearby only to realize that the music comes from inside the hotel. I am still not sure how the reception desk was not able to hear this sound. I eventually called the front desk and they sent security to address the issue..

We stayed for one night as we had an AGM and dinner to attend. Reception excellent when asked if we could move from 2nd floor to 1st due to my wifes not liking stairs due to her knees. However the bacon at breakfast was COLD but the choice of food excellent.

Room service a huge turn down

My only complaint is that when ordered room service the price on the menu and the bill differs. The excuse offered was that I had an old menu in the room which I feel was not my mistake. I choose my dinner base on the price given in the menu and not be surprised that it cost in the end R65 more than expected. For that prize it could have eaten out. Thank you

The overall stay was excellent,the rooms are clean and spacious,the staff is very helpful and courteous.The hotel can however improve on the food especially the buffet. The hotel is otherwise very comfortable and there is ample parking and good security measures in place for vehicles so you can sleep peacefully.The room price was really amazing as i did not expect to pay so little for so much comfort.

The hotel is great with please try service . Bathroom is a little cramp with shower just big enough to fit in. The area is very noisy as I assume it's near a university. I stayed only one night which was Wednesday and I could hear constant loud voices outside from nearby that went on till late hours f the night

Great business hotel in Bloem

This is a great hotel to stay at for business in Bloemfontein. The rooms are modern, clean and comfortable. The service is good. I am not sure that the breakfast, although pleasant, is worth the additional cost.
