This roadside motel was very clean, well managed, and excellent value for the price. No bells and whistles, but all we needed was a clean, comfortable place to stay and this motel fit the bill.

a bit of a problem to get to the room , as the pet area is on the far side of the motel and involves a distance to walk with your luggage. but OK property

Property shows its age. Doors fit badly, and many people slammed them to shut them, meaning constant thudding of doors. Also, if you don't like the roar of water going by through the power station weir beside you, then don't stay here.

Right on the river where it enters the North Channel of Lake Huron, such a lovely view. On the down side it's also right on the Trans Canada Highway & a railway line, but that's what earplugs are for.

So glad they take pets. Having said that, the room is average. Bed was comfortable. Unfortunately the spigot in the tub is coming loose but you can still have a shower. People above where having a very good time until 4 am.
