"Trotz vorhandener Parkplätze war es eine Herausforderung, einen freien Platz zu finden, da einige Fahrzeuge so parkten, dass sie gleich zwei Stellplätze blockierten. "One could tell that in its heyday, this was a very busy place. But still holding on and very nice. Nothing fancy, but everything was clean and well maintained. The food was fantastic-one of the best meals I've ever had. "

"Die Lage ist grundsätzlich schön und die Anlage sauber, allerdings waren mehrere Möbelstücke deutlich abgenutzt und damit nicht mehr wirklich einladend. Zwar war der Service aufmerksam und das Essen gut, doch insgesamt wurde der Aufenthalt stark durch gesperrte Wanderwege wegen Holzfällarbeiten sowie den nicht nutzbaren Teich aufgrund von Bauarbeiten beeinträchtigt. "Arrived at 10.30pm after a day of visiting clients and a long drive from Dusseldorf where we got held up in a lot of traffic to find out the hotel was closed no one was there and now stuck with nowhere to go. I hadnt noticed that in the small print it states check in closes at 10pm a detail I think should be highlighted not hidden in small details. Extremely disappointed no one tried to ring or message from the hotel to see if we were arriving. I accept we were late but would have been better for someone to contact us as we were only just after the cut off. They could have left the keys out for us but no they just locked up and left us stranded"
