"Booked a sea-view room.. got “upgraded” to a family room with no sea-view. So clearly it was overbooked.. we got moved to the apartments which were really nice, some noticeable wear-and-tear but really nice and private. Spa and breakfast were awesome.. all of the staff were incredibly nice. Reception was awesome, even with the mix-up while we were checking in, they were very helpful and quick to find a solution. Massive kudos to all of the staff at this hotel, ya’ll rock!!"

"Lovely view over Girona from the terrace at the front, a 10/15 minute walk from the old town which was fine for us. The hotel feels a bit dated and no tea/coffee facilities in room- you have to pay 2 euros for a coffee from the communal area. But it was clean and functional, and the terrace at the front has a nice small pool and lots of tables- a pleasant place to relax after a day of sightseeing."

"Great location 5 min walk to bus and train station and the main sights. Supermarket on doorstep. Can leave luggage in a room behind reception. Spacious room comfy large bed with good bedding. The room smelled strongly of bleach, we left the window open and went out. I'd stay again, just pricey really but that's girona i guess"

"I had a very nice solo stay at the Hotel Pimar. The location was great, right opposite the sea. My room was small, but with a huge bed! All very clean. There were two things i felt were lacking. Firstly tea/coffee facility within the room. Maybe this is not a 'thing' in Spain but it would have been a good addition. Secondly there was no information about the hotel and its facilities, or the local area. I knew before i arrived that there was a swimming pool, but had i not known, there was nothing to tell me. Similarly, there was nothing about local sights such as the lovely botanical garden. The staff were.very helpful with the return of my sunglasses.which in leet in my room."
