Liked the pool a lot. Would have preferred to have a room on the road side of the property, not the back side. Kind of a strange area in the back, nothing happened but I was on guard the whole time back there. It also made your walk to the breakfast room a long walk. Management was very nice.

Very friendly staff, had everything ready so check in was fast. Clean rooms. More importantly the bed was comfortable. After staying in another hotel nearby and having horrible beds, we decided to try Bears Ears. We will be staying there from now on.

This hotel is very impressive for what it is and it’s location. Excellent value for the money. It is not an amenity rich luxury property. It is a great stop over for us as a halfway point between Phoenix and Steamboat Springs. It is impeccably clean. It’s been completely remodeled, so the rooms are quite updated. The staff could not be friendlier and overtly expressing wanting to make sure your experience is good. We did not use the pool, but it looked nice. The breakfast is not easy to do for a hotel of that small size and type but sure enough it was well done. We would stay again. Beds comfy, shower good pressure & hot water.
