Staff was very nice and helpful. We went for the low end 50 per night one night to just sleep. You get what you pay for. We were down the hill in former econo lodge. Quiet. Clean. Beds comfortable. Nothing luxurious, but it was exactly what we needed. Cheaper price, comfortable bed, and felt safe. Owners could not have been more pleasant!

The furniture in the room was filthy! The sheets were old, but clean. The bathroom was clean. The staff that I encountered was very nice and helpful. I would not stay here again due to the outdated furniture, etc. in the room.

Things were broken, towels had stains, had to go to the quality in next door for the front desk, weeds grown up to my knees outside, hair dryer was broken, my non-smoking room smelled like smoke, but besides all that it was actually good. At least it’s a safe area, has comfortable beds, and was cheap. Really didn’t need much more than a good and cheap place to sleep so I was satisfied.

The staff was fantastic. The area felt very safe. I gave my low rating because there were stains on the ceiling and floor, I only received new towels one night of my three night stay, they did not restock my toilet paper, and the door did not lock from the outside.

Won't stay again.

Cons: Room smelled very musty. Carpet was stained. The wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling off. The TV got 1 station. We didn't have a shower curtain and had to go to the front desk to get one. Pros: Room darkening shades worked well, bed was comfortable, lady at front was nice

The property wasn’t the problem at all. The staff was amazing. YOU Expedia was the issue. You didn’t push my booking through therefore I had to pay AGAIN with the promise of YOU reimbursing me. They were extremely nice and talked me through what would happen from check in on. Even charged me less than you did Expedia! I expect my refund immediately from you and I will be using another booking app from here on because this is twice this has happened booking through you and there will not be a third

Not the best but not the worst either

It was a strange place. It was run out of another hotel next door. The old reception area was very dated. Strange tile on the floor and wall. Hall smelled and a couple pieces of garbage outside of a room. My room was clean but the pillows were a joke. They were the size of sofa pillows. I used one from my car instead. I think I was the only one in the building, they had a lot of cancellations from the tropical storm off the east coast. It felt odd to say the least but they can’t control the weather. I could see going there again. It was easy on the wallet and I wasn’t expecting the Ritz Carlton. I hope they renovate it. Please renovate it. It needs it. The service was great. Receptionists at the other hotel were super nice.

This is a clean place to lay your head and shower on a budget. If that is what your budget needs then this is ok. It is an older property and they are slowly trying to improve it. That being said the pictures don’t really look like the rooms so lower expectations. Free simple breakfast, rustic pool, very close to Radford .

Firstly, it wasn’t the Radford Inn. Had a very difficult time even finding the property because it was actually a Quality Inn, that by the way had no address signage on the outside of the property. Room was filthy and smelled, stains everywhere. Luckily we were only there for a minimum amount of time.

I canceled with Expedia help. It was infested with cockroaches abcs bed bugs dead and alive. This is also owned and managed by Quality Inn, and is asinine to me that when I asked about a room in the other building and ruins were available the report manager refused to exchange 1-for-1 and I was told I would have to pay extra as ‘it’s an upgrade’. This property needs to be shutdown and property manager fired, the only positive experience was the young gentleman working the front desk. I will be reporting this to health and safety officials. Beware, you’re better off sleeping outside, honest.

There were 3 holes in my pillowcase and they had yellow stains. Cobwebs in the corners. The keycard to the 2nd floor didn’t work so I had to take all my stuff up the stairs. I cancelled immediately and stayed in Blacksburg!!!! Do NOT STAY HERE!! There was a lady behind me as a family of 4 with complaints of similar and she had mold!!!

I paid for a non-smoking room for two nights, the entire room had cigarette residue and smelled like smoke. The AC unit was turned off so the room was hot and stuffy, I went to turn it on and there was black mold on the vents so I got my things and left. The staff couldn’t refund my stay so I ended up staying somewhere else.

The Radford Inn was filthy! It is an Econo Lodge attached to a Comfort Inn. The Comfort Inn is beautiful, 💖 and I wish I had stayed there. The Radford Inn was filthy! Sticky floor, a large, brown Queen bed bug I found, dirty. Surprisingly clean bed, so I slept in it. So did my Service Dog.
