"The property had beautiful grounds where one could sit in a hammock and relax. The pool was clean and refreshing. Beds were comfortable and housekeeping came by every day. The air conditioner in the room was often very noisy so I had to wear ear plugs to sleep sometimes. The free shuttle to Pigeon Point Beach was wonderful. Store Beach which is walking distance from the hotel was very narrow. There was not much room for people to sit on the beach. "

We paid USD 75 for one night however our host mentioned he usually has rooms way more affordable average USD35 but due to Carnival he was booked out. Highly recommend ."

"Pro: This is an older hotel with great character. The owner has done a great job with the re-model over Covid. The view from almost anywhere is fantastic, overlooking the entry to the Scarborough harbor. A nice public beach is just steps away. I think this is an overlooked property due to Covid and somewhat out of the way location. I was the only one there for my two day stay! Basically, the whole staff was waiting on just me! "The beach view was excellent! However, the staff was poor, I think mostly not trained well…. Upon checking, we received no information about the enmities of the property, or map, or even a card for our room keys, w the WiFi information on it. It seemed every question we asked the staff, they did not know, & to ask someone else. A late checkout cost was exorbitant The bartender had to look up how to make a Tanqueray and Tonic! Then needed help finalizing the bill for me. The next morning when I asked about the excursions on the chalkboard next to the reception desk, no one knew anything about them…. The staff was nice enough, but again, I think poorly trained, & not very helpful"

"the front desk personel were very helpful and pleasent. the concierge desk lady was rude and did not seem to care about assisting us with their advertised paid property tour. she clearly did not care who i was. i would not let rude staff member affect the other great staff and change my option to consider the hotel for another stay. our room was far from the restaurant and i asked to upgrade at our cost however there were no rooms available. seemed untrue as there were very little cars and people on this huge property. this hotel and property has alot of potential and wish to see it be better"

"I was really disappointed with my stay at this hotel. I arrived around 6 PM and almost everything was already closed, which was frustrating after a long day of traveling. The gift shop was supposed to open the next day, but it never did, leaving guests with no place to even grab basic necessities. The food was honestly terrible and the menu options were extremely limited. On top of that, most of the staff outside of the front desk were not helpful or welcoming at all. The front desk employees were the only positive part of the experience. What shocked me most was that I couldn’t even get a simple glass of water at the resort. There was no water provided in the room, and I actually had to leave the property just to buy water elsewhere. For a resort, that level of service is unacceptable. Overall, the experience did not match the expectations or price, and I would not stay here again."

"It was an okay stay. Wifi did not work so I had to leave the resort to actually work on my laptop. Not very many dining options except for the Waves restaurant. No telephone in my room. When asked at the front desk the agent said she did not know why. Property needs some updating. Once updated I might visit again."

"My husband and I stayed for 10 nights. Absolutely enjoyed! Met a lot of nice people, from Trinidad and Tobago. We were there over Easter weekend, and school holidays. Oceanfront, all rooms! Location is the best, turtle beach. Saw a turtle dropping her eggs on the beach ! This is a 3*, but the staff definitely add a star. Shout out to Asst manager Jerome ( great guy), bar service Raul , Gabriel, Tennille! The gals at the grill, Nicole, Lakiesa, and Michem. Frederica’s cooking our eggs every morning! We will be back!"
