"Bathroom was clean but carpet in room needs to be removed due to bad smell. Breakfast was fine. Female bartender was great! One big problem was a sharp metal piece that stuff out of bed frame that my husband hit his leg on. I informed front desk and showed her a picture. Didn’t seem concerned at all. "
Hampton Inn Grand Junction Downtown/Historic Main Street
6/10 Okay
"I stay at Hampton Inn and Suites frequently. At least 20x a year. In this case, the Grand Junction H.I.S. was not that great. It was okay, but compared to all the other versions I have been in around the country, this one needs some help. They are in the process of remodeling, but to what extent, I cannot say. What I can say is that the bathroom shower was moldy. It was uncomfortable to be in. The room was okay, but smelled odd. The bathroom had some signs of water damage. Would I want to go back to this particular hotel? Probably not. But... out of the 50+ H.I.S I have stayed at. This is the very first time I have experienced a less-than-spectacular room. So they get a lot of grace on this one."
"The room was doable for a short overnight stay. Not the cleanest, but not the worst I've seen. We chose not to eat breakfast as it was just muffins, cereal, etc
No hot breakfast.
The gentleman who checked us in was super nice though."
"Thank you so much for the hospitality. It was a nice day and the air conditioning and heating worked. The staff was very professional and helped with anything I needed."
"Overall a nice place to stay. Quiet and clean with helpful staff. The Continental breakfast is adequate but could benefit from more frequent cleaning of counters, tables and equipment between guests. They are supposed to clean your room every 3rd day but I had to ask someone directly on the 5th day to get clean sheets and towels. I stayed a total of 8 nights but when I asked for a late check out I was told I would have to pay an additional fee. Seemed a bit rude."
