The hotel’s garage parking was full when we arrived. We were given a map with directions to another parking garage which is not managed by the hotel. It was after dark, confusing to find, dirty, and most concerning, was the number of people loitering in and around the parking garage, and on the walk back to a hotel. We were approached by some and it felt very unsafe. I wouldn’t stay there again unless I knew there was hotel parking available upon arrival. The room was updated, spacious, and clean.

Hilton Homewood Suites UAB (the 2-room suites are awesome) is a very nice hotel within close driving proximity to shopping and restaurants. Check-in was extremely easy and because they were super busy and the luggage carts were all in use Ms Chris and Ms Sondra from Management volunteered to help us with all of our luggage. We were very much appreciative of their help!!!

The room was clean and spacious. Kitchen area included a full sized refrigerator, a dishwasher, a stove, and a microwave. The king-size bed was comfortable. Breakfast included scrambled eggs, sausage and pulled pork, cubed potatoes cooked with peppers, cereals and milk, yogurt, coffee, muffins, breads, etc. We were not informed when we reserved the room that parking was $25 each day. The parking area is surrounded by a fence. Parking is accessed at a gate activated by a keypad keycode.

Perfect location and is within walking distance of several great restaurant’s and stores. Definitely my top choice from here out when I visit. NOTE!! My only issue was parking. They were out of parks but luckily I found a spot on the side of the street. Be sure to call and ask about parking bc it wasn’t an option while booking.

This hotel is very clean. The bed was too hard for me, but I travel with a bed topper because I find most hotel beds are not soft enough for me. I will say the whole hotel is clean and comfortable the front desk staff is very helpful and kind. This was an emergency trip to UAB Hospital and we needed to be close to the hospital.
