"The property welcomes pets. The staff is very friendly. The lodge is about 10 minutes from Silver City. The Buckhorn Restaurant is nearby and quite good. The lodge rooms are dark and need attention but it sits in the woods and that makes it peaceful. "
"This place was a total dump…disgusting and lacking in every sense. I still can’t believe I paid $100 for that room. First off…we got 2 towels in our room that sleeps 4. So my husband went to the front desk and asked for more. The office lady said she would go find some and bring them to us. She came to our room a few minutes later and gave us 2 towels. I went to use one and luckily I didn’t just throw it around me because it had SH*T smears all over it!! Seriously, literally poop all over it. My husband was furious and brought it back to her and she had some excuse about how the dryer was broken so she grabbed some towels from a different pile than the clean towels were usually kept after drying, and she must have grabbed a towel from the “stained” pile. OMG!?!?! And that wasn’t just a stain…that was fresh sh*t. She said she’d have to go find a new towel from another room. Also, the beds were rock hard and had nothing but 1 flimsy sheet. In the morning, breakfast was supposed to be at 7 a.m. with coffee at 6 a.m. There was a line of people at the lobby doors at 7:30 of people hoping to catch some breakfast and coffee before they hit the road. There were multiple phone numbers listed on the door to call for assistance,..but none of the numbers worked or “the voicemail box was full.” You have got to be kidding me. They had a lot of really annoyed customers standing there shaking their heads. So sh*t stained towels, no breakfast, hard beds with no covers…don’t stay here. "
"The property did not feel safe. Lots of construction workers hanging out. Outside appearance looked run down. Room and poor, small windows that were high up. "
"Room was clean and well equipped. Pool area was well maintained and enjoyed using both the pool and jacuzzi. Hotel staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the area and helpful. Breakfast was good with a good selection of food. "
"The room was beautifully furnished and very spacious. Bathroom spotless! An amazing spot to spend the night. We regretted not to stay two nights as the hotel land and the area offers interesting things. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. "
