Inn at King City

2.5 star property
7.4 out of 10, Good, (512)
"The room was nicer than expected. It was also quiet, a surprise given the number of solo working men in residence. Not sure what happened to the free WiFi and breakfast that were advertised. And some strange woman stood outside my room and yelled “Tamales, tamales, tamales” for ten minutes at about 8:30 p.m. Other than that, the place was comfortable, spacious and quiet. "

The Rigdon House

3.0 star property
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (1001)
"We stayed here to break up the long trip to San Francisco and to visit Hearst Castle. We wound up loving this town. The hotel, which is in an historical building, was a stand-out for its nightly happy hour, its quaint charm, fire pit behind the main lobby, and ease of access to local shops and restaurants. Cambria is divided into two main areas, one which is the area around Moonstone Beach and the other, the town proper, which is a bit spread out with 2 different centers. The hotel was on the...

El Colibri Hotel & Spa

3.5 star property
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (1001)
"The location is good. A short walk along a pretty wood boardwalk takes you to the beach. Also walkable to "downtown" Cambria and its shops and restaurants. Our room had laminate floors, which was great for us because we were traveling with a
dog
. The pet fee was reasonable at $25/night."
