"I along with my boyfriend chose the Rho Hotel because of the location on Dam Square. The specific location of Dam Square was very important to us because we were revisiting Amsterdam for a 50th anniversary reunion. In 1976, I along with my boyfriend had a beautiful photo taken in front of the War Memorial and we wanted to go back and have the same photo taken. I am an author and I placed the photo on the cover of my book which was written in 2024. What I loved about the Rho Hotel is the incredible, attentive, and super friendly staff at your front desk. When we needed to have our 50th reunion photo taken at the monument, one of your morning staff graciously offered to do it and we are so forever grateful. The entire staff including the day and the evening shift employees were so wonderful to us. I felt like they became good friends to us in the week we were there (8/14/2026-8/22/2026). The breakfast was great each morning as well. The owners of this hotel should be very proud that they have such a caring and competent staff who really go out of their way to make their guests welcomed and enjoy their stay. We will be back!"
