"A really nice centrally located hotel, easy walking distance to restaurants and the castle, also ideal if you’re looking to drive the famous “Nordshliefe” track. Friendly staff keep this classic German hotel clean and tidy and whilst it is without frills the beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are great and the fridge in the room is a nice touch. Plenty of parking and a thoroughly enjoyable stay, I will definitely be returning."

"The room was clean, but the mini fridge was left unplugged and someone left food in it so it continued to make the room smell horrible. We had to wait a while at the front desk, because the lady was outside and didn’t hear the bell ring multiple times. Didn’t like that the door was a key. "We were visiting friends close by and found this hotel near to them. Upon arrival, the reception was very friendly & welcoming. The room at the rear with a balcony was spotless and fresh. Breakfast was very substantial and we had evening meals within the hotel, which were good valve for money and very filling. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming which made our stay (4 nights) very memorable and pleasant. The village by the hotel was very peaceful and tranquil, we had a walk around each day after breakfast. We would definitely recommend to stay or just stop off at this wee hidden gem if you are in the area."
