"We stayed in the apartment which was really spacious, it is a fabulous house with well thought out decor. Cleanliness was second to none, so if that's what concerns you when travelling, then Eagle house is for you its spotless. Andy and Helen are great hosts and very welcoming. The town is just a short walk with some lovely pubs and restaurants to choose from. Overall a fabulous stay."

"DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY! AWFUL SERVICE. I booked this property for me and my friends and the booking was cancelled LESS THAN TWO DAYS BEFORE. I was promised and refund and have been chasing this for the last month and the property is completely UNCONTACTABLE! Hotels.com have not refunded me nor will they unless the property replies! Hotels.com has now given up and I have lost over £400! DO NOT BOOK HERE!"

"Slightly unusual place to stay in that it feels more like a bar that is never open than a hotel. A bit like you have walked into someone's private party. The bedroom was fine but the place has a hard to explain atmosphere. The hotel front door is often locked and you have to unlock it with some weird combination lock. "Absolutely shocking stay. No confirmation email prior to arrival or key safe number. Spent an hour trying to contact them. When we finally got through we were about 1 hour from our location in Crewe, to be told sorry the room that you have booked has had a flood in the en suite.
