"The gate to the entrance was still open which seemed to result in many cars/people enter for what appeared to be a party woth 70-100 people and cars zipping around property. This went on for quite some time. I witnessed cars speeding around the parking area resulting in two vehicle hitting each other. The police finally showed which was good but I question the value of a gated entrance if gate is up and no one is checking to see if those entering are guest of the property or not. The security seemed a bit unsure on how to handle and likely let the situation go to long before acting. Additionally, my card for entrance were deactivated each day causing us to get locked out of unit and having to go to office, wait in line to have cards reactivated. We love the property but this last visit was not nearly as nice as past stays."

8/10 Good
"The check-in staff was very nice and helpful. Our room was nice and clean, very big. The refrigerator was nice and cold ! I had called a couple of days prior to my arrival about trying to get some kind of disability accommodations but was told I would be charged a penalty fee so I told them to forget it, but when I got to my room it did have disability accommodations so that was great ! My only real concern was that we went out to dinner and came back and I had to use the restroom so I get out my room key and the bathroom was trashed ! This was the bathroom in the lobby. There was no toilet paper and someone had shoved brown paper towels down the toilet in the handicap stall. I just happened to have some tissues in my purse. That was my only issue. I didn’t get to stay for breakfast as I was having a procedure done at the hospital at 6:00am. I would definitely stay here again."
"The rooms were spacious (including a big bathroom) and it was marginally clean but there were fur balls in spots so, being Type A, it wasn’t comfortably clean for me but doable for a short stay. My two biggest issues was with the noise (pacing above us all night) and the very uncomfortable beds—it made for a terrible nights sleep. The rooms have zero amenities, no Kleenex, no coffee maker and the coffee offered downstairs was so weak (terrible) it didn’t knock it for me. I guess for the price, $113 a night, that’s what you get. I hate to complain because front desk people very nice!!!"
"I rarely give such low ratings but the room itself was sub par at best. Dirty floor, and the toilet and shower are in one tiny closet-like area and the sink is in the room. No chance for dressing in privacy if you're traveling with older kids. The room was not touched/serviced for the entire 4 day 3 night stay, including removal of trash. We caught one employee in the hall and gave him our soaking wet towels and asked for fresh ones. Came back to room late afternoon and no towels. When we called the desk we were told we'd have to go down to get them.
Breakfast room was overwhelmed and ran out of food by 8 am. No forks, muffins, pancakes at various times. No one cleaned tables between families. A trail of water from trash on the floor was a slip hazard. The manager was overwhelmed. Lack of staff?.
One of the worst stays and I've had hundreds.
Apologies for the length
Front desk checkin was great to add a positive note."
"The Kings Creek resort is beautiful, clean, comfortable, and conveniently close to the major area attractions. I would definitely stay there again for any trip to the Williamsburg VA area."
