"This was such a great little room for such a cheap motel. I think it's been recently renovated because it looked immaculate. Even though you could park right outside your room, the room inside felt like it was in a highrise hotel. And although small, it had great amenities, including a small fridge, cutlery, kettle, a table, tv etc. The bathroom was modern and shower was wonderful. It was also easy to access since I was texted my room number and access code before my arrival, so I didn't need to speak to anyone to check in, I literally just drove up and went inside. I was pleasantly surprised by this accommodation."

The home itself strikes the perfect balance between stunning period charm and modern comfort. Every detail has been considered, from the fairy lights and bug zappers outside to the well-equipped BBQ and outdoor area — ideal for relaxed evenings. Inside, the three spacious bedrooms were beautifully styled with plush bedding, and the bathrooms were equally lovely. Every amenity you could possibly need was provided, making our stay incredibly comfortable. Communication with Jamie was seamless — friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout. Maldon is one of Victoria’s best-kept secrets — full of character and charm, with plenty to explore. And with Castlemaine, Kyneton, Daylesford, Bendigo, and Mount Macedon all nearby, it’s the perfect base for a regional escape. We couldn’t fault our stay and would absolutely return. Highly recommend!"
