"Minnies cottage is in the middle of very beautiful farmland, it's close to Killeavy Castle, walking distance to a nice little pub called Johnny Murphy's and a small grocery store. The hosts and the property is warm and inviting. There were 4 of us and there was lots of room, 3 couches. The owners take pride in their property, it's very well built, beautiful and clean. Highly recommend this property if you just want a couple of days in the country or are attending a wedding at the castle."

"Fabulous views and amazing golfing. The hotel itself is very well maintained and of a very high standard. Food for dinner and breakfast was of a very high quality. In some hotels this can all get lost if the team working there do not match those standards but, in this instance, they actually exceeded them. Nothing requested was too much trouble, they were very attentive in the restaurant at all times and they had achieved an amazing balance between being utterly professional while being incredibly friendly and personable. I would have no issues recommending this hotel and golf course to anyone. David"

It was a perfect base to explore the Mountains of Mourne on our motorbikes for a few days. Rostrevor and it's residents we so welcoming. It is a magical place."

"Fabulous country house style stay - there is a sweeping driveway through mature gardens. The history of the house is fascinating - the monkey puzzle tree is a late addition at 1913.
