Great hotel with very friendly staff! One of the best breakfast buffet in Sri Lanka. Staff are very friendly and respectful. Only suggestion is to expand the gym area with better air conditioning

We had a small situation where when we switched off the A/C the whole room was dripping water as later I found out that the walls are made out of clay. So all our bags and the entire room got watery…but other than that, staff was extremely professional and friendly, location is beautiful as well. Wish the parking situation was better, overall it was a great stay

The bedsheets and mattress were wet and some moist smell was coming. One half of the bathroom sliding door was broken. The beds are very small for twin beds’ size. There was no proper process/queue for check-in. It was not managed properly and anyone was coming in between and was checking in. The hotel seems to be overcrowded. The beach was not accessible. There were stones and fisherman boats were there which made the water smell oily and bad. The only good thing in hotel was swimming pool and food. I tried calling reception to get my room upgraded or changed but the number call was transferred and disconnected eventually. Not sure how it is rated as 5 star. Overall we had a really bad experience, not at all worth the money we spent.

Bon séjour à renouveler

Réservation en chambre deluxe en 1/2 pension pour 9 jours avec accueil dans un salon climatisé. Aucun document n'est remis sur les avantages (thé et cocktail gratuits dans ce salon à des horaires précis). La chambre vue mer est spacieuse, bien équipée, le WIFI est bon et TV avec TV5. La vitre et la porte fenêtre qui donnent sur la balcon ne sont pas correctement nettoyées et les nombreuses traces ne donnent pas une bonne impression lorsqu'on arrive. Bien qu'il n'y ait que peu de clients en raison des risques liés au covid19 la chambre a souvent été refaite que dans l'après midi. Le couvre-feu les 3 derniers jours n'a fait l'objet d'aucune communication par l'hôtel.L'hôtel est très grand et le restaurant principal est en conséquence et très bruyant lorsqu'il y a du monde. Buffet correct au diner et au petit déjeuner (avec des jus de fruits frais) mais lorsqu'il a moins de clients le choix est fortement réduit. La plage devant l'hôtel est très petite et le sable grossier. Par un petit chemin sur la gauche vous pouvez accéder à une plage plus grande et prendre un bateau (200 lkr par trajet) pour aller sur la très grande plage de Bentota. Les chambres deluxes disposent d'une piscine réservée. Le personnel est disponible et répond à vos demande avec plaisir. Le manager chargé des chambres a été particulièrement attentif à mes demandes. Je reviendrai avec plaisir dans cet hôtel.

Schöner Badeaufenthalt, könnte aber mehr

Der Aufenthalt ist wirklich zu empfehlen! Sehr freundliches Personal und tolles Essen- von europäisch, singhalesisch bis indisch alles dabei. Alles esss- und trinkbar ( auch Eiswürfel, Salat, Eiscreme etc). Das Essen ist alles hausgemacht und frisch. Am Strand vor dem Hotel gibt es viele Guides und Verkäufer- wenn man sich davon nicht genervt fühlt aber ein schöner Strand. Das Freizeitangebot hätte ein wenig besser sein können: hier wären Kajaks, Stand Up Paddles o.Ä. Für ein 5 Sterne Hotel angebracht. Sehr gut ist auch die Bar mit ihren Drinks und Snacks. Wir hatten Ocean View gebucht, letztendlich sind aber alle Zimmer zum Meer ausgerichtet und wirklich nah am Meer ist man nicht. Die 200/300 Euro kann man sich auf jeden Fall sparen. In der Nähe gibt es viele kleinere Sehenswürdigkeiten wie Tempel, Boat River Safari und Schildkrötenprojekte. Alles in allem aber für einen Badeurlaub zu empfehlen!

The resort was beautiful. Four different restaurants and multiple bars. Didn't need to carry any cash or cards. Charged everything to the room and then you pay at check-out. However, we felt that some of the rooms needed to be updated. The style of most rooms included wall tiling which looked old and dingy. These tiles were also around the head of the bed and no head board, so sleeping by the dirty, old tiles, didn't settle well with us. After talking to management about a couple other grievances as well, they were able to find us a new room the next day which was an upgrade to deluxe. With our new room we received complimentary access to the private lounge which included high tea in the afternoon and cocktail hour in the evening (all complimentary) plus access to the private deluxe pool. We spent 3 nights there total.

Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Da wir normalerweise keine Pauschaltouristen sind , waren wir uns nicht sicher , ob uns so eine Resort gefallen wird. Wie waren von dem Service und den Annehmlichkeiten positiv überrascht.Wir hatten nur Frühstück gebucht, diese war sehr vielfältig. Es gibt viele Möglichkeiten auch ausserhalb des Hotels gute Restaurants zu besuchen Der Hotelstrand ist nicht sehr schön, wenn man jedoch ein wenig läuft, kommt man an einen sehr schönen nicht überlaufenden Strand mit Sand wie Puderzucker. In der Nähe befinden sich zwei Supermärkte, in denen man auch einige ayuvedische Produkte recht preiswert erwerben kann.

Nice Way to Close The Trip

The property was well organized and had a lot to offer. Three restaurants, two pools, a gym and direct access to the beach. The staff was very accommodating and allowed us to have a late check out of 2pm on the last day and also allowed use the property’s facilities after our checkout as our flight was late in the evening which was greatly appreciated. The food was good and had a lot of variety and the rooms were spacious and well maintained. The evening entertainment wasn’t groundbreaking but it was a nice touch and created a decent atmosphere for the evening. Overall it was a good stay and a great value for our money.

Koko henkilökunta turvatarkastajista vastaanottovirkailijoihin ja tarjoilijoista siivoojiin oli uskomattoman ystävällistä ja palvelualtista! Hotelli sinänsä vastasi odotuksia ja ylittikin ne monessa suhteessa, mutta sen kolossaaliset mitat olivat pieni yllätys. Laajalla viheralueella oli runsaasti tilaa auringonottoon eikä aurinkotuoleista tarvinnut taistella. Ranta oli aivan vieressä ja riutan rajaamalla alueella oli turvallista uida. Hotellin noin 500 asiakkaasta suurin osa oli aasialaisia, joiden sivistymätön käytös häiritsi hieman hotellin ravintolassa. Häiritsevänä koin päivällisaikaan myös äänekkään live-musiikin, joka nosti kaikuvan ravintolasalin yleisen melutason pilviin. Mutta ruoka oli erinomaista ja edusti 6-7 erilaista ruokakulttuuria. The Resort is Excellent.. Great big breakfast buffet, the pool is great, the staff very friendly and helpful. The room very comfy and the room service as well very convenient. Would definitely recommend staying in this resort.

They have some KIDS activities which gets closed by 6.30 PM. and then the kids have nothing to other than watching the smokers or the drinkers. I told the Manager but he did not extend his services. For the steep price this is not worth for kids. They had a restaurant where I found a POOL Tables when I asked him said its only for Deluxe Room Members. When I told him I would like to play. He said its 25$ Entry for Non-Deluxe Members only for that Restaurant. So when you see amenities as POOL TABLE do not take it since it is not for

For honey moon and relaxing is super

It was really amazing place to relax and good reasonable price for the room including the breakfast with free dinner as well . The food was very good and have variety . Only point is the night activity were missing so we felt poor at night and have nothing to enjoy .

Dont pay for an ocean view room

Paid for an ocean view room however don't waste your money as the view is no different to the garden view, just one level above them. it's a 4-star hotel only, lovely staff generally. You need to ask for the robes slippers as they don't come in the room as advertised. Breakfast is huge and food options are plentiful.

Das Gebäude ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber es ist sauber und schön eingerichtet. Das Personal ist ausserordentlich freundlich. Die Speisen international und sehr gut. Wegen der Anschläge haben sie das Sicherheitspersonal massiv erhöht. Der Eingang ist durch ein grosses Tor mit Wärter verschlossen. Unser komplettes Gepäck wurde durchsucht, bevor wir das Hotel betreten durften. Vom Strand zurück in die Hotelanlage wurden die Taschen auch durchsucht. Wir empfanden dies nicht störend, sondern eher beruhigend, da es für unsere Sicherheit war. Auch die allgemeine Lage ausserhalb des Hotels im Land ist nicht mehr gefährlich. Es wurden immer noch laufend Polizeikontrollen durchgeführt. Man hat das Gefühl, die Polizei und das Militär hat die Lage im Griff. Wir würden jedenfalls das Land jederzeit wieder besuchen.

Amazing stay

Was An amazing stay. Staff joyful and professional. Location perfect , beach, garden, facilities, food , dinner and breakfast. Pool in huge. Morning activity in the pool was cool. But small issue staff in the restaurants should pay more attention for the guests instead of having side private conversation and playing with the mobiles phone .

Definitely five star hotel

Booked only for two nights, but immediately extended our stay for two more nights. First time we stayed here and we loved the hotel but the highlight was the ability to swim safely in the bay surrounded by the reef. Will definitely recommend to others.

We found our stay at Cinnamon bey Beruwala extremely pleasant. The staff members were always helpful and made us feel welcome straightaway. The hotel itself was beautiful, and the location was perfect. We would throughly recommend anybody looking for a relaxing holiday with an unforgettable Sri Lankan experience, to visit this hotel! ☺️
