Empfang war ausgesprochen nett. Es ist alles da, was man für eine Nacht braucht. Allerdings war es ziemlich kalt im Zimmer (November!). - Ein Hotel, das mit der Nähe zum Flughafen wirbt, sollte nicht erst ab 7:00 Uhr Frühstück anbieten.

Convenient to DESY-Zeuthen

Eichwalde is a quiet, residential town. I was planning a couple of long days at DESY-Zeuthen, one S-Bahn stop south of Eichwalde (or a nice 45 minute walk). I typically stay in Berlin proper, but wanted to give this a try. Anyway, I had a small, but very nice, single room. Checked in late via the intercom and key lock-box. I had a German speaker with me, but it seems likely it would have worked in any case. Breakfast was quiet, food and coffee were excellent.

Personal ist sehr nett. Zimmer sind „spartanisch“ ausgestattet. Betten bzw. Matratzen sind etwas härter. In Zimmer 18 steht irgendein Gestell aus Metall. Sollte einen Stuhl darstellen ? Keine Ahnung. Zimmer 17 hat eine normale Bank, ebenso die 16. Die 18 aber halt nicht. Im Bad an der Decke Spinnenweben. Der TV ist ziemlich klein. Heißes Wasser in der Dusche benötigt eine Minute bis es war wird. Jeden Tag eine kleine Flasche Wasser auf dem dem Zimmer, sehr nett.

Ruhiges Hotel im Süd-Osten Berlins

Die Rezeption ist nachts nicht besetzt, trotzdem war eine späte Anreise um 22:30 ohne Probleme möglich. Die Zimmer sind schön groß und freundlich eingerichtet. Das Früstücksbuffet ist reichhaltig und die Betreuung sehr freundlich.
