Very modern spacious room, which is unusual for Europe. Great location in the center of town on the harbor. My only criticism was that the bar was closed last night as we were hoping for an after-dinner drink at the hotel but apparently wine bar is closed on Mondays.

Otherwise the room was very comfortable and everything worked well, and the breakfast was amazing and very good quality (especially the pancakes). Our room was very clean and the hotel is very close to all the things to do. The room was oddly arranged and had a very high step up to the bathroom which could be bothersome. The breakfast was very good and the restaurant had great fish soup. We ate there twice.

The location of this hotel is fantastic! You literally are a block away from the fish market. Super close to Bryggen the marina, shopping and restaurants. They were having key issues when we arrived. The staff handled this issue beautifully and were always quick and gracious in letting us into our room. We stayed in the 3 bedroom apartment- good space for six people. Clean, well appointed with comfortable beds. We would recommend racks to put suitcases on as there are not dressers and one room did not have a place to hang things. We would also recommend a kitchen table for meals and a place to congregate and play games. Also, while the bathroom was very clean and beautiful - the shower needs a better drain system as the water many times would flow into the toilet and sink area. We would definitely stay again, great location and wonderful staff!

Can’t beat the location, absolutely perfect. Go for a room with a balcony and have breathtaking views, recommend room 602. Only downside is the room, nowhere to hang clothes other than a tiny section behind a mirror, tea/coffee selection very poor and kettle has to be out on the floor to be plugged in. The room was also very cold despite heating up to full.
