Staff and service at this hotel is excellent, unfortunately the rooms are a bit dated and my room which was within the main building of this hotel was uncomfortably warm (even with the window open in early June).

Hotel was booked out. We had a reservation for four people for two nights. When we arrived there was no room available for us. We had to wait almost three hours for a solution. Solution was: We slept in a room with two small beds but were 4 People. NOW: Hotel won’t do any compensation. I paid for two nights in a family room. This is not acceptable.

I wonder which institution determines the number of stars because with regard to this hotel Fletcher Marijke in Bergen, people are quite wrong. The small room was known but a bathroom of very minimal size, no cold shower water, no balcony, no air conditioning or mechanical ventilation in the room, mattresses too soft, parking fee 7.50 per day, no swimming pool, you wonder where it is 4 star rating ? comes from. That will not only be based on the staff and breakfast because that was great !

There was mold at the wall in the wardrobe. I mentioned this to the lady at reception the next day when we left. The woman responsible for the household was also present there. She already knew this problem. Nevertheless, these rooms were rented to us! Luckily we were only there for one night.

Foto impliceert verblijf in rustieke villa; in werkelijkheid zijn 3 huizen in de straat bijgekocht en uitgebreid met maximaal aantal kamers; wij zaten in benauwde ongeventileerde zolderkamer met schuine wanden en afgezaagde deur. Ter illustratie; badkamerspiegel wijst onder hoek van 45 graden naar de vloer… gasten roken tijdens ontbijt, elke consumptie direct afrekenen, betaald parkeren, bij te vroeg arriveren schools wachten voordat je sleutel krijgt; niet omdat kamer niet gereed is maar omdat het nog geen 15.00h is. Al enkele malen positief verrast door Fletcher, hier absoluut niet…

Nur der Preis hatte 4 Sterne

Eigentlich hatte ich gedacht ich gehe in ein 4 Sterne Hotelit einer guten Ausstattung aber es kam ganz anders der Preis hatte 4 Sterne aber der Rest hatte eigentlich nur einen Stern verdient leider. Die Heizung war defekt und heizte den ganzen Tag obwohl es schon draußen sehr warm war, das Zimmer war ziemlich schlecht gereinigt ich war von Fletcher Hotel sehr sehr enttäuscht.

Vorhänge nicht vorhanden. Dabei laufen dauernd Leute am Zimmer vorbei und schauen rein. Auf den Hinweis ist nicht reagiert worden. Mussten die dicken Vorhänge immer zu haben. Und schutzig war es auch. Für das Parken kassiert aber dann keinen Platz garantiert. Wer zuerst kommt mahlt zuerst. An sich ein schönes Haus aber zuviele Minuspunkte.

De locatie was top, de buitenkant van het hotel ook en het terras. De rest was oudbollig, karig ontbijt. Kleine kamer met vlekken, de douchevloer was glad, en we hadden iemand met een rollator. Als je slecht ter been bent is het geen goed hotel. De lift werd gerepareerd.

Uitnodigend hotel, met leuk terras. Personeel zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Klasse! De kamer was netjes. We misten wat haken voor het ophangen van toilettas etc. Mijn onderlaken bleef niet liggen en daardoor rolde het op onder mijn rug en dat lag niet zo heel comfortabel. Ook douchen in het bad heeft niet onze voorkeur. De volgende keer dat we komen (dat zijn we dus van plan omdat er veel positief was) zullen we aangeven dat we een douchecabine prefereren. Vriendelijke groet
