"Unfortunately the hotel chain was undergoing a strike so staff was minimal (albeit very helpful).
The room was ok after a paid upgrade. Heater did not work and typical bathroom amenities were not present.
Breakfast was great. Dinner was disappointing. One dish and dessert for fixed price of NOK 31.
Instead of a full buffet.
The hotel is in the suburbs but the tram to town was great. Be aware that there is about a 1/2 km walk to the station from the hotel. "

Due to the current hotel staff strike, the room was given occasional and limited cleaning.
Only breakfast was available, no bar or restaurant during the rest of the day.
Staff are entitled to strike and this did not prevent us from having a great stay in Bergen."
