"It was a nice place to stay. The only thing is that they should tell you that the last check in message will arrive late as well, because I thought I would not get the message and therefore not be able to go into the area. So they would need better communication. Also you should get the wifi password clearly when you book, I could not find it anywhere. Other than that it was good"

"Amazing...that's one word for it. It is tired, the beds are bunk beds (fun at 63 climbing down from the top bunk!), the shower leaks, the bath tub leaks. We gave up after day two of our three day booking and left. Kenneth the local guy was very helpful but the unit itself is very tired. The lakefront is swampy and uninviting but a nice view and quiet spot. The listing should better reflect the state of the unit to better manage expectations. We will be asking for the refund for the unused...

Worth booking a room

"The room was clean and bed was comfortable. In the breakfast room everything was easy to find and the coffee was excellent. Only complaint is that there was some smell of chemicals, smoke or something undetermined in the room. The decor and interior was also very cool with all posters from the 50-60’s"

"I really like this hotel. I have stayed there a half a dozen times. Good location. Very clean. Quirky layout because the building is over 100 years old but I like the rooms, the apartment rooms are spacious, the views of the bay are beautiful. The breakfast is excellent, great healthy choices. Normally there is public parking in front of the hotel. "
