"Broken down car in the car park is only vehicle there. Doors open but no staff. Have to go several hundred metres to ibis budget to register. Poorly maintained and unsafe feeling area not helped by signs pointing out that the car park is not secured "

"Stunning farm house that has been modernised perfectly with all the amenities you need. We enjoyed the tennis, pool and mini golf between wedding events we were attending nearby. The food was amazing, we really enjoyed our stay and slept brilliantly. "

"What a wonderful historic building this is. Nice specious courtyard and pool area. Staff was so professional and friendly. Easy to store our bicycles in the parking garage. Comfortable bedding and bathroom. Also the food in this restaurant is excellent. Don’t forget to try the soufflé it’s the best we have had ever! Breakfast great too. Would definitely stay here again as only 2 minute walk from the historic center. "

"We stayed just one night on a fleeting motorbike tour. Plenty of secure parking for the bike and no problem with the surface. Florence is welcoming and helpful, a very interesting and talented lady. She holds one of those, nowadays, rare qualities of creative vision. I have stayed in far too many soul less, clinical lodgings that I care to mention. This being the perfect antidote. "I stayed here because there was a pool. When I arrived about 8 or 9pm there was a self-check-in at the gate. I was not sent a code, but a friend who spoke French called and got it for me. It was not sent through Hotels.com or by email. Without calling I would have not been able to stay here at all and would have been far from Agen with no room. It is VERY FAR from Agen, not in Agen as listed on the hotels.com site. The pool was covered for the night and opened at 8am the next morning. Check-out was at 10. There is no ice machine, no refrigerator, no hotel staff. I got up at 8 to use the pool for an hour. When I checked out the hotel front desk person called a cab for me. It was about 30 euro to get back to Agen. This is the only person I spoke to during my entire stay and she was lovely and helpful and understanding of my baby French as I counted on my fingers to tell her my room number. If you aren't prepared for this odd system, you will not be able to check-in if you arrive late. There is an elevator. There is no communication with guests. Pool is very small and was being cleaned during the one hour I was able to use it during my stay. I swam anyway, but the vacuum was underfoot and would not have been safe for children to swim."
