Amazing hotel! Lots of charm and perfect location to explore the city and the lake. Could not be closer to the ferry docks, you might have to park a few minutes away from the hotel if you have a car

Spectacular hotel! Staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome helped us with our request to freeze a gel pack to use for my back pain Wonderfully stay!! Would highly recommend this hotel!

One of the few bright spots in our otherwise horrific Italy trip. Very nice hotel with an incredible balcony view of the lake. Nice staff which was rare in Italy and incredible quaint town. Easy to take the ferry across to the other side and head up to SUI for the day because the ferry is right next to hotel. The power situation was very odd which prevents the 5 star... You have to have a key plugged into the wall to activate the power which means if you're out of the room you have no power to charge devices, etc.

The location is fantastic. The staff are very helpful and the pool area is a great addition to cool off and relax after a busy day. The breakfast was good and the food across in hotel restaurant on the lake front is amazing for dinner. Beautiful views from the hotel room

Needs a bit of attention. First room had a faint but distinct sewage odor. Given another room. Second room toilet paper rack broken, some slat inserts in hard wood floor missing. Neither room had functioning towel warmer. The staff was exceptional, the location great. Included breakfast had more than adequate choices, both food and drink. Needs a bit of TLC.

Excellent stay perfect location very helpful staff. Pool was critical as we were there during a heat wave, there’s no bar at the pool though and hard to find drinks but staff was helpful getting us some ice cubes for water we bought in town. Key is super heavy but staff can hold it at hotel for you while you shop / dine / tour.

The hotel was very centrally located, which was a big plus and made it easy to walk to restaurants, shops, and the main areas of Bellagio. The location was definitely one of the best features of our stay. Unfortunately, the hotel itself felt quite dated. The décor and the room could use some updating, and the pillows were particularly uncomfortable and made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. Overall, the location was excellent, but the rooms and furnishings would benefit from a significant refresh. With some updates and more comfortable bedding, this could be a much better hotel experience.

A beautiful and traditional hotel which was right on the promenade by the water. A few hundred yards from the ferry. Great staff, lovely rooms, nice little pool and a decent buffet breakfast. Look no further!

Rooms need a little upgrading, AC was struggling and the mattress was closer to an ironing board. Breakfast compared to other hotels we stayed at was somewhat bland. Location was fantastic and convenient. Pool was a good added amenity to get some respite from the summer heat

Perfect location to port. Beautiful breakfast and views from room and front of hotel. Lobby was great for waiting for gathering. Staff pleasant and knowledgeable. Elevator broke down on day of checkout - bringing bags down was easy with wide staircase. 100% recommend for family of 3.

The room was great-very clean, excellent views of the marina, staff was very kind and helpful and our only suggestion would be that the breakfast could use a little more options. We found it a bit underwhelming and ended up seeking food elsewhere. That said, we still really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the property!

Hotel Excelsior Splendide was amazing! The location was absolutely perfect, with everything in Bellagio just a short walk away. Our room had a beautiful view of Lake Como, and we loved relaxing by the pool after exploring. The hotel was beautiful, the room was great, and the included breakfast was an added bonus. We couldn't recommend it more!
