"Good, clean hotel in a tiny village. It made a good base for exploring the region. There's very little in the village itself other than the Grottes de Han but it's a nice, peaceful spot to return to after a day exploring. Staff were helpful.
We experienced a few issues getting in and out of the expensive basement car park. While the EV chargers remain out of action, you may be better off looking for a spot at one of the publicly accessible chargers round the corner on Rue d'Hamptay.
We liked having the little kitchenette facility in the family room but it would have been nice if it had been a little better equipped (I'm sure we could have asked for things), and I wasn't brave enough to try anything more than heating things up, as the hotel smoke alarm lurked a few feet away."
"The hotel itself was lovely, the pool was great. We had a family room and it wasn’t the best, the shower was faulty the main head didn’t work and it just leaked out of the pipe instead, we spoke to a member of staff and he told us to just use the hand held part, the room itself had missed cobwebs and the sketchiest stairs to get to main bed upstairs (very thin and steep) one of the back slaps of wood fell out when one of us walked down. It wasn’t horrible but it was disappointing."
"Hotel was lovely clean and quiet with great amenities. Pool and spa were fun. Only negative was we booked a certain room and they didn’t have it available when we checked in so we ended up with 2 different rooms. It didn’t matter too much for one night tho. Friendly staff"
"Fantastic location for La Roche
Lovely walk into town
Great restaurants
Lovely ambience along the river
Hotel has a great bar area at the front during the day and at the back in the evening
Great Stay
Lovely"
"This was a last minute booking due to an imminent need to return to UK ( motorcycle trip ) and having done 400km with another 300 to do.
Staff v friendly, this is a hotel which supports water sports groups ( mostly young kayakers ), but Dinant is a lovely location. The bar restaurant is another building the other side of the car park, which was open for drinks but kitchen was closed. However around the corner on the waterfront was a fabulous bar/ restaurant with loads of character.
The hotel overall was what we wanted, a bed for the night.
I was not put off by young people enjoying the water, it was nice to see."
