Excellent room

Huge room, very clean, good size bathroom. Staff helpful. Excellent breakfast. Little bit far from any amenities eg shops, attractions.

Clean and comfortable close to the train station

Quick in and quick out. The person who checked us in agreed to have a "breakfast to go" for the morning because we were departing before breakfast was being served. The bagged breakfast was awesome!

Bad experience. Nonsmoking room but full of cigarettes smell. Stiff bad, flap pillow, difficult to get into sleep. It's not the same level as other holidayinn, very disappointed

非常不错的酒店。最满意是它的早歺部分。非常多的选择，而且还有我最爱的北京早点：鸡蛋煎饼。二楼的泳池和健身房也很不错。下次去北京还会选这家！

nice clean hotel close to city centre

A clean hotel providing a good service. Facilities to Deluxe room is excellent. Friendly staff are available 24/7 for help. As the hotel is located near the city centre arranging the airport picks up and sightseeing tours are convenient.

Beijing - Holiday Inn - Great Stay

Lovely Hotel, great air conditioning, hotel rooms were clean and comfortable. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast included. Room is more than comfortable for 2 people, however we were 3 and that was a bit more cramped. Otherwise very good.

Das Hotel ist sehr schön, sehr sauber und geräumig. Mit 2 Betten à 1,35m hatten wir bequem auch zu dritt Platz. Das Frühstück war ok, es gab auch Brot, Honig und Marmelade. Es gab sogar Cappucino und soviel man wollte. Auf Extra-Wünsche wurde gleich eingegangen. Es gibt 3 Restaurants in dem Hotel, auch westliche Küche. Insgesamt wirklich sehr empfehlenswert.

Honestly, the best part of staying at the Holiday Inn Beijing wasn't the Hotel. It was the manager of concierge Jason. He understood exactly how to navigate the city, and which tours would provide the most information. He informed us on all the "need to know" details as well as extra things we may enjoy. I didn't know about the Summer Palace or a river bank with tons of shops/restaurants/rivers/canals. I'd been to Shanghai 3x's but never to Beijing. Jason is the reason everything was so easy for my mother and I. I would recommend this hotel because I know Jason will take care of all the people who stay there.

Good experience overall

First time in Holiday Inn in China, it's a pretty American style decorated hotel. The room is big enough for 2 people but the bathtub is relatively small. The WiFi speed is stable but can be slow when you actually try to download sth on your devices. The breakfast buffet is definitely worth the money, the food was delicious and fresh. Overall it's a pretty good experience.

Great service, great staff

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Check in was easy and efficient as the staff spoke both Mandarin and English. The rooms are fairly clean in comparison to other hotels we've stayed at in China. We chose this hotel as it was close to the south train station from which we were arriving and then departing later. The location is slightly removed from the center of the city and we found it best to use metro lines for our excursions to major attractions. Metro line 7 has the nearest stop to the hotel and it's about a 15 minute walk. Western breakfast options are available in the hotel but a little pricey. There's a pleasant walk to be had along a garden lined cannel to the west of the hotel with many willow trees and floral displays.

The main block is good with comfy and clean rooms. The staff had been very helpful too. But the condition of the rooms in the west wing is not so optimal. Lights are dim in the corridor and less guarded in security in that block (dim lights, side door to enter west wing with no hotel staff stationing plus the lifts do not require pass checking so basically any trespassers can go upstairs without any problems).
