"Had little room for luggage as the room was smaller than expected. Toilet was quite cramped as well. Aircon had a sign showing 'no hanging of dirty laundry' there was a foul sock smell emitting from the aircon, i assume there were stayers hanging wet socks at the aircon to dry. "I just needed a bed to sleep on for the night, so this hotel fit the bill and it was close to the airport. Bed was hard (but they all are in China), but the let down was the shower, which was clogged. I had to stop my shower or else I would have flooded the room."

When I asked the people at the desk, they simply said that the photos online is not their hotel, but another hotel that looks nice. "The Cordis is a very comfortable hotel next to Beijing Airport and great if you are in transit for a night. It's easy to get a 24 hour entry visa, although be sure to ask airport staff where to go to get it, as you will need it in your passport before you go through immigration. Getting to the hotel is relatively straightforward, although the directions from the hotel to get to the shuttle pick up area omitted that you need to exit at 2F, one floor down from the arrival hall. In the hotel I highly recommend the Chinese restaurant on the second floor. The staff are very attentive and the food is very good."
