The hotel was in a great location close to Beijing train station also the metro. I was a bit confused as the front and lobby looks nothing like the pictures. I believe it has been remodeled for the good. I wasn’t sure if it was the correct hotel that’s how different it looked even the signs. We arrived they don’t speak english so we had to use a translator app. I was told that they no longer take online reservations and that my reservation was not on the system. I’m still not sure if my reservation was confirmed or they just gave us a spare room as I was charged im cash. We wanted to stay en extra night for the price and location as they still showed rooms
available on the app but when asked she said there were no rooms.
Fine, no frills, near the train station. It was clean, but small, no windows for my room. I just needed a place to stay between my travel by train to Beijing and my flight the next day. This place did the job. Near a coffee shop which served Western-style breakfast (which I had missed for the past 5 weeks living in rural China).
One thing that did bother me is that without a Chinese phone number, I couldn't get Wifi access. The woman at the front used her phone to help me out though. I would also assume no English spoken by the hotel, the place was pretty small.

Disliked: Room comfort
