Prime location just off the main pedestrian 南锣鼓巷, make sure you book the room with balcony - def worth the extra money and experience the true hutong experience. While the room size is slightly on the small side, the staff is most helpful you’d encounter - nothing is too much to ask. They make you an extremely pleasant stay.

Prime location just off main pedestrian street 南锣鼓巷 in the middle of all the action while quiet inside the hotel. Our stay here was wonderful! We had the privilege to visit Beijing in June of 2026 and stay at this boutique hotel for 4 nights. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance (less than 1/2 a mile) from a metro entrance and centrally located on a market street. The staff was very kind and extremely attentive to our needs. We utilized their free laundry service as well as free breakfast, tea time, and cold beverages. Each day, the staff greeted us, and asked if we needed food, drinks, etc. The room we selected had a cozy, private balcony as well as high powered AC which was much appreciated in the middle of summer and a king sized bed. The room was clean and tidy and the facility was well kept. Upon our departure, the staff helped us call a Didi and walked us to the pick up location. Then, presented us with a parting gift, a tea set.

Lovely location just along Nanlouguxiang, the staff are all wonderful, super friendly and helpful. Free laundry, we had a long trip and was travelling with many bags (heavy) the ladies had to help to hand carry them all to our room on the second floor. Complimentary breakfast and afternoon tea (missed it as we were out in the day) on the day of checkout at noon they even offered to cook a dumpling noodle soup for my son who missed his breakfast. Would love to stay here longer if we had more time.. Thank you for the great service!

The staff at the hotel were exceptional! There were 4 main girls at the front desk. They brought us trays of late-night snack to our room even after we arrived back late past the snack time. They helped me find and book a spa, brought us our coffees, and on check out, even carried one of our luggages, walked us out to the Didi and loaded the luggage onto the car! The girls were always smiling and pleasant. We really appreciated their friendly service! The hotel is very convenient, right off of Nanluoguxiang Hutong. Even though it is next to this bustling Hutong, the hotel is extremely quiet. The room is clean. The only suggestion I have is if you go during warm/hot weather: tell the staff to tell the cleaning staff to keep the blinds closed during the day and to keep the AC running. The stairwell area has lots of windows, so it makes the upstairs room hot. We didn’t care for the view after first seeing it, but would rather be able to sleep without it being so hot!

Love this quaint little inn. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants authentic experience. The building was built about 200 years ago. They refurbished the place so it’s very nice. Their service is very good.
