"This is a really nice reasonably priced getaway with lots of activities that are extra. The Spa, Segways, Clay Pigeon Shooting and Boat Tours were all great. The staff are really good and attentive. The manageress of the place however is not a nice lady screaming at staff and guests alike. Dream Resorts should take action against her as they have a great product. "

"Didnt like the attitude from the ladies at the restaurant not all of them anyways.they communicated very poorly with us.And the other thing is that although there is a map it is impossible for the first timer to follow the directions correctly as the route is explained at the reception but very fast.we got lost several times before we got to our destinations. Otherwise we had a wonderful stay at Dikhololo beside those 2 small challenges hope they will be attended to soon "

"Our stay at Ivory Tree was fantastic! From being greeted by their warm staff to our guide Sephio (I hope I did not make a mistake on spelling). Everyone made an effort to make our stay memorable. We cannot wait to make another trip to Ivory Tree! "

"The staff were exceptional. I arrived in Johannesburg at 0400hrs. Arrived at the Hotel at 0800hrs. The manager was brilliant in allowing a very early check in by 0830 hours. Normal check in time is 1400hrs. We really appreciated the early check in as we had been travelling all day. Breakfast was absolutely brilliant. "

"The only good thing about this hotel was that it is in a very beautiful location. It's on a hill, overlooking some amazing countryside. Unfortunately, it is terribly run. We didn't have hot water in our room for the duration of the stay - despite their best efforts. The kitchen was an utter shambles - it took them close to 3 hours to serve our lunch order, and more than two hours to get us our dinner order. There were serious maintenance issues in the room - the balcony door didn't work, many lights were broken. There was a safety light in the room that did work, but we couldn't turn it off and it was so bright that it attracted pretty much all of the insects in the area, and since the balcony door was broken we struggle to keep them out. The staff claimed that was our fault and spectacularly failed to provide us with insect spay. It was a bit of a nightmare. I should note also that this is a dry hotel (no alcohol), and pork products are not served. Clearly, we were not part of their target market - which seems to be middle eastern men who like to shoot and kill the animals, rather than just take pictures. Unsurprisingly, we were the only guests."
