"the rooms were very clean everything was furnished in kitchenettes, beach was awesome good campfires friendly staff good parking nothing at all negative about this camp site it does not need any improvements, why mess with perfection. and thats what this place was, nothing but perfection i would recomment this to anyone in which i already have"
"The water view was fantastic! I found the front desk staff to be a bit rude (interacted with multiple people there over three days), but everyone else was wonderful. After getting the correct room, there were a ton of dead bugs all along the window sill and long black hairs in the shower, other than that the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. One window wouldn’t open at all and the other wouldn’t stay open (luckily the in room iron propped it up a few inches at least). The pool area smelled strongly of chlorine, but I didn’t use it. The hot tub was out of order and access was taped off. Based on the temporary fencing and piles, it appeared they were going to be doing some work along the beach (though I never seen any and I was there during the week). The food at on-site bar/restaurant was okay enough, the lone person working the bar and all the tables was super friendly and did an amazing job keeping up with a rather busy room on his own. Attempts to get a late checkout were a crap show -every time I stopped at desk to request it I was told I’d need to ask the next shift, right down to morning of check out when I was told to stop back after 9 and they’d check with the cleaning staff -At that point I gave up, and when I walked out of my room at 10:45 (for 11 checkout) there wasn’t even a cleaning cart on the floor yet -a real issue for me considering I’ve never had an issue requesting this anywhere else. Overall, not a place I intend to return to."
"The staff was pleasant and helpful, but accommodations definitely were beat up, outdated and in need of attention. I liked the fact that I could walk my dog each day around the pond...right up until another resident let their bigger dog loose and it charged me and my dog again and again - trying to hump her - all the way back to the safety of our room. I am 79 years old and was quite exhausted and upset about no one (not even the dog owner) coming to my aid. That dog kept charging us from different directions each time I swatted him away. It was a terribly frightening experience for both myself and my dog. I decided to only walk my dog at the nearby park afterwards.
I stayed at this motel because it allowed pets, and I broght documentation that my dog was an ESA - Emotional Support Animal - but I was still charged $10 per day ($140 + tax) in addition to the room charges for my 2-week stay there. This was not called for, because I always cleaned up after my dog and she brought no bad habits to this motel - she's a clean, well behaved pet.
After these experiences, all I can say is that I would never stay at Tri-Terrace Motel again."
"Good beds! 1st floor ceilings need a sound blocker from 2nd floor rooms. Room 119 hallway door needs to be realigned. There is at least a 1 inch big gap between the lock jam and door. Makes you wonder how secure the door lock is. Also you see hallway light coming around the door at night. The woman employee at the desk was very helpful. She showed us to our room to see if there was a grab bar in the tub, and there was."
"Had a great stay for a week at this hotel. Definitely a step up from the hotel behind it, and the location on Cook Road is nicely surrounded by various food and shopping options. The two double bed room was very spacious and the bathroom was nice, however I felt the bathroom did not have sufficient ventilation and the use of a sliding barn door on the bathroom was a bit lacking in the privacy department. The microwave being located outside of the room is a bit inconvenient, but it ended up being very close to my room. The refrigerator did not seem to get particularly cold. Staff were excellent, very helpful and kind. The pool area was clean and served as a great area to host my friends. Additionally, the rooms with balconies that come out to that area are a neat concept. The smoking gazebo is nice as a smoker, but I would appreciate a couple more being added as groups of people were occupying it at times throughout the day as a hang out spot (valid as it’s a nice spot to be.) Also some guy dropped an onion slice in there and left it (not valid.) The only major negative experience I had was when the water went out unexpectedly for a full day, That was very inconvenient as I was not able to shower, use the toilet or brush my teeth for a full day. I’m willing to consider it a fluke, but I was disappointed that it took so long to resolve. I will still happily stay at this hotel again in the future."
"Don't believe the good reviews.
The hotel is in need of new management.
My room was a 2-queen-bed room.
The floor of the bathroom was dirty. I could feel it when I walked on it in my bare feet. The bath towel for preventing water on the floor was dirty. I could literally see the dirty footprints of the previous user.
The wall had repairs on every wall and was just repaired with joint compound and not painted.
The curtains were falling down, and from the outside of the building, when you looked closer, you could see that all the rooms had the curtains falling and deteriorating.
The bathtub had somebody else's hair in the drain.
Do not stay here. This owner should sell and allow someone else to come in and refurbish the place. Although it may already be too far gone.
My companion had a room with a king-size bed, and their room was just as bad, with patches on the walls. No shampoo. Curtains falling down."
"View is incredible from cabin 14 (the whole property, really). Had everything we could need. The beach is very nice. Our cabin was clean and clutter free. The property has a nice vibe. I/we would absolutely stay there again."
