"It was stated that breakfast starts at 6am, "

"I was told breakfast was at 6:30. We needed to be at our son's to avoid morning traffic to the airport and he needed to go to work after dropping us off at the airport. we arrived in the lobby at 6:28. at 6:40 i ask the desk clerk if i had misunderstood what time breakfast would be. He was extremely helpful and said she was running late. At 645 the breakfast lady came out and said she was running late and she knew we had flights to catch. I rolled my eyes as she said it and she then proceeded to tell me she knew how disappointed i was and i could come on in. and then she said If you want to eat your breakfast unprepared go ahead!! I never said i wanted french toast, eggs, or sausage. I just needed something to eat with my medication and to be able to be at our sons to have him get us to the airport on time and him to work. I even said to lady. i am sorry to upset you and she refused to talk to me! Everyone else in this motel evey time we stay here has been EXTREMELY POLITE and we have been EXTREMLEY HAPPY but this breakfast lady was not like the rest! I would have eaten yogurt or a bagel or cereal of which were all out but she didn't open the doors until almost 650. that's 20 minutes late!"

"I became I'll while at the property from medication I was taking. I was with my daughter who was interviewing for a job in town. I called down to the desk and asked for late checkout. They could not have been nicer! They asked if they could do anything to help including sending some herbal tea. Anything at all. I appreciate the concern and care when of late, that is not always the norm. St John's Resort is truly beautiful as well. The grounds and facilities are gorgeous. I'll be back when I'm feeling better!!"

"This was by far the worst property I have ever stayed at. We booked a two bed room - unfortunately due to a flight delay, we got in later than expected (11pm). We called the hotel right when we landed to tell them we were still coming only to be told that they only had a one king bed room available. However, they reassured us there would be a couch in the room so everyone would have a place to sleep. Well we showed up, and there was no other furniture in the room besides the king bed and a small chair. The Hotel staff didn't understand why were upset because the one king bed we were assigned was technically more expensive than the two queen bed we had already booked...this one king bedroom had a jacuzzi, so apparently that made it okay. Great, but at that point, it was already the middle of the night, we didn't have a car to go to another hotel, and every hotel in that had availability was 3x the cost for a last minute booking. The hotel should have offered us some type of refund or compensation, but they did nothing instead. Three full adults had to share a king bed, which was an unpleasant experience. Overall, the place was really run down. Broken tiles, dirt in the sink, etc. To make matters exponentially worse, they had a water pipe burst on the property which caused all the water to shut off the next day. Please, avoid this property at all costs."
