"Lovely small hotel in the small walled city of Bale. Very good breakfast buffet & excellent attached 5 star restaurant. Excellent service. For North American travellers, there is no elevator so you may want to transfer your travel items into a smaller carry-on. For the hotel, please add an in room kettle. As a traveller, sometimes you need to make yourself an herbal tea or an early morning coffee. Also, please have 100% overhead coverage of the areas connecting the buildings. It rained during our stay and the only access were very slippery stone steps."

"This was our second visit to the Lone Hotel, and once again we were not disappointed. The Hotel is immaculate, and its modern, clean-line design is impressive. We booked a Grand Double Room overlooking the the Cape Forest and pool. It was spacious, well presented, and came with a large balcony that made the stay feel even more special. The breakfast buffet offered a great selection, and every member of staff we spoke to was polite and courteous. A special mention goes to Milena ( we hope we spelt her name correctly) who worked both breakfast room and restaurant. She was always smiling, friendly and chatty a fantastic example of excellent customer service. The Lone Hotel should be proud to have her on their team. The facilities throughout the hotel were excellent, and we would happily recommend this hotel to anyone planning a holiday Rovinj. For transfers from the airport we booked through Maistra Hotels and weren't disappointed."

"Such a lovely little hotel on the outskirts of Rovinj in a quiet residential area. We loved that the beaches were just a 5 minute walk away through pine forest. Hotel immaculately clean, amazing breakfasts and afternoon cakes .. help yourself to hot teas all day. Lovely pool area which was always quiet. Town was half an hour walk away but we didn’t mind the walk each evening and got a taxi back (around 12 euros) Staff all lovely. We took the hotel bikes one cloudy day and cycled along the coastal paths which was lovely. Would definitely go back"

"Had a wonderful family stay in a deluxe mobile home in the Colona area of Mon Perin. Very well equipped (first time we've had a washing machine in a mobile home!), clean, very comfortable bed and had new towels and bedding after 3 days which is also a first for us on a campsite! There was a good size shady terrace with sofas, sun loungers and a large dining table so perfect for relaxing and eating out. Loved the fact it was a short walk to the beaches and the pool and the campsite shop was reasonably priced and well stocked. We did a fabulous sunset dolphin boat tour on our last night directly from the campsite which was a lovely finale to our holiday! Would highly recommend and love to go back."

"We couldn’t have wished for a more lovely hotel than Villa Maree on our Croatian and Italian adventure. Nothing was too much trouble and the little things go along way. An ice machine and free coffee in the reception area was a lovely touch and also the bikes that we were free to use. I made the most of the proximity to the sea and the ace trail path which you can cycle or run on. Such an ideal location for the whole family."

"Would 100% recommend. Everything you would expect from a 5* hotel - the hotel looked brand new everywhere! Beautiful rooms, immaculate grounds, generous breakfast with à la carte choices cooked to your order. What blew us away was the attention to details and every single member of staff making you feel like you were the only guests. Without asking, we received a surprise one evening in our room of an exquisite cake and champagne to celebrate our anniversary - what a thoughtful touch. My husband also accidentally knocked his iced coffee over by the pool and within minutes they had replaced it without asking. Considering our stay was in peak August season, there were always sunbeds to choose around the pool and I witnessed the pool staff going above and beyond ensuring guests every need was catered for. Cannot thank enough every single member of staff for a truly memorable visit in an amazing location."
