"We had a lovely stay at bayview hills on our trip to Montenegro. It was great value for money, amazing views from the room and a lovely pool area. We found it very helpful having a kitchen and were provided with everything we needed such as cooking equipment, coffee and bottled water daily. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The area was remote so very peaceful but I would recommend having a car for easy access around Montenegro. There is plenty of parking available. The roads were steep but this got easier the more we drove."

"The owners are very kind and helpful. They helped me get a taxi to the airport and helped with storing my bags after check out. The apartment is spacious and has a nice outdoor space. I didn’t really enjoy Kotor or Dobrota as it’s very difficult to get around even if you rent a car. There’s not much around in terms of restaurants and supermarkets, for example you have to walk quite a bit just to get breakfast unless you cook at home and there’s a tiny convenience store 6 mins walk away but it’s limited. I wouldn’t go back to Kotor but glad I ticked it off my list,"

"Lovely little hotel, felt really intimate and unique, with nice stone walls and interesting decor. The main guy on reception - whose name I'm ashamed to have forgotten but he lives 50m down the road from the hotel - was absolutely brilliant, his English was excellent and he served as more of a concierge than a receptionist. He was very knowledgeable and we had a great chat on our last night. All other staff were friendly as well. A la carte breakfast was nice, with fresh fruit and yoghurt also provided, and you can enjoy great views as you take it out on the private lakefront terrace, from which you can also take a swim in the lake and make use of the complimentary towels and blankets in reception. The room was cosy, with a very powerful shower, comfortable bed, and an AC unit. Not completely soundproofed, but we didn't find that a problem. Wi-fi was not very good, which wasn't a problem for us as I got an eSim for the trip, and the 4/5G is excellent throughout the country. If renting a car, there should be ample parking spaces, even if you can't get a space right out front. I would mention that the road leading up to the hotel is a nightmare to drive on, if there are cars (or god forbid a bus!) coming the other way it can be very stressful, to the point where I refused to drive the next day, instead opting for the hour long walk into Kotor Old Town"

"We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Casa del Mare Vizura ❤️ The hotel is gorgeous, our room was beautiful, and the pool and spa were perfect for relaxing. The food was also amazing — breakfast especially was so tasty! You must book a room with a view because it was so beautiful to watch sunsets and wake up to in the morning. The terrace was perfect to watch all the boats and take in the wonderful view. All of the staff were so lovely and welcoming, but Yana deserves a special mention. She was honestly amazing and couldn’t do enough for us. She was always there to answer our questions, give us recommendations and help with anything we needed. She was so kind, friendly and accommodating throughout our stay and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure we had a lovely time. Yana is a real credit to the hotel and definitely made our stay even more special. The location was also perfect for us — it’s only around a 10–15 minute taxi ride into Kotor Old Town, so really easy to get in and out without being right in the busy centre. We would absolutely recommend the hotel and would love to come back! ❤️"
