"Hi, The property was clean and the beds were comfortable. While I understand it maybe the impossible task to keep the bird crap off everything, I believe a little more effort should be put towards that. While I did not tell the desk about the issues we had, #1 the tube did not drain well, at the end of a short shower we would stand in about 2 inches of soapy water, #2, the slider to the deck, was hard to open and extremely difficult to close, had to put full body force into closing it, needs adjustment and to be lubed, #3, door lock does not appear to lock completely, #4 bathroom sink drain is slow. The valet, while we did not use it, they were very kind gentlemen, restaurant/bar staff, while kind, were overwhelmed. It was obvious, both times we went, one bartender servicing the entire bar/restaurant is not sufficient staff for normal ratio's of table's to staff, so the service was to say the least "slow". Food for the most part was ok."

"Amazing historical hotel right on the beach in Hermosa. Nothing else out there like this 100-year-old hotel. Wake up to the sun shining off the beach. Go to sleep listening to the surf. Beautiful room with ocean breezes blowing through. Spacious. Tasteful. Lovely."
