"The hotel was a size that we liked. It had a quirky feel with its surfing theme and appealed to us even though we are well past our surfing days! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was very spacious but the only negative was that we were not expecting the bedroom to be up a flight of stairs on a mezzanine. We would have preferred everything on one level. We were a little disappointed that bins were not emptied or dirty cups removed. On balance, we would definitely stay at this hotel again."

"Hotel was beautifully decorated, had a lovely feel to it, very relaxed. The location is perfect, only 5 mins from restaurants, beaches etc. The man(didnt catch his name) who checked us in was extremely welcoming and helpful with information on the local area and restaurants aswell as what was available at the hotel. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again."

"Excellent location to the sea for my daily swim. Breakfast was exceptional. Staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Only negative, the room keys failed to work if kept near mobile phone, which took a while for us to realise."

"It does what it says on the tin. No-frills, value for money accommodation. Comfortable bed and excellent kitchen facilities. Very clean. Launderette on the other side of the road. Supermarket and boulangerie two minutes away. A few minutes walk into the centre of town and the beach. Recommended."

"Much has been written about worn condition of 1970’s vintage modernist building and we certainly found that evident on exterior. Lack of maintenance may be related to shared use of structure by hotel and multiple condominium units. The hotel interior including lobby, dining areas and guest rooms all updated and very nice…and service by staff was excellent."
