"My husband and I just returned home from our stay at HM Alma De Bayahibe and I can't say enough great things about this property. For starters, it is absolutely beautiful. The large salt-water infinity pools overlooking the Caribbean sea make sunsets an absolute dream. The food at the buffet was always very tasty, although at times some of the dishes could have been warmer. The 2 included a la carte restaurants (Alma - Dominican; & Anima - Italian) were fantastic!. We also dined at Tamashi which is the Japanese/Sushi restaurant that is not included in the all-inclusive plan, and our meal was not only delicious but relatively inexpensive. The rooms were clean & modern. The staff throughout the resort were extremely friendly and accommodating. We did have an issue with our room where one of the wall panels fell down, however when we reported it to the staff, instead of just opting to fix it, they upgraded our room complete with a complimentary fruit platter & bottle of champagne, and also provided us with massages for each of us! The entertainment staff was a lot of fun and had us dancing every afternoon & again in the evening. If you're looking for a party spot, this is probably not the resort for you, as everything ends at 11pm - however it was perfect for us. Definitely a great place to go if you're looking to relax! We will definitely be returning! "

"Firstly the food at the buffet is amazing, we actually canceled a few reservations just so we could eat here more. So many options, and all amazing. Special mention to Altagracia just by the entrance, the loveliest person at the resort. Apart from that, the resort is very beautiful and well designed. Staff are professional and friendly. Beach is beautiful. This is a truly fantastic resort, 5 stars in all regards. "

"Room was very nice and well attended. Great staff, very friendly and helpful. The property is beautiful, very well maintained. The landscape is amazing. It is a pleasure to walk around and see the variety of plants and vegetation. The only disappointment is the quality of the food. While it was ok in the buffets, jusk ok - the "specialty" restaurant were extremely mediocre. A great place like this should be proud of their food and restaurants. We spoke to other guests and they all agreed the food and quality in the restaurants could be much better to make this an unbelievable resort"
