South Shore Inn

"We booked two nights, along with two other families, for our end-of-summer trip to Cedar Point. The staff was excellent right off the hop, accommodating my request for our rooms to be close to one another, and providing a warm welcome upon arrival. The location is excellent - just a quick drive to the theme park. As season's pass holders, it was nice to take a break midday for an afternoon swim in the pool and soak in the hot tub before returning to the park for Round 2. We also enjoyed our night cap at the pool, which was open until 11:00 p.m. We had dinner at the nearby Thirsty Pony, which had a great atmosphere and service. Breakfast at South Shore had a decent variety and the woman who worked there each day provided excellent service. We would definitely stay here again!"

"The staff was very helpful and very friendly. Clean hotel. The only negative thing was shampoo and conditioner bottles were empty in the bathroom. Normally this wouldn’t have bothered me because I bring my own, but this time I didn’t. My bad!"

"Great location to stay in our Cedar Point trip. Rooms were clean and big, check-in was easy, and staff were friendly. The breakfast was a bit limited, but had the basics. There was scrambled eggs, sausage patties, bread, waffles, cereals, yogurt during our stay. The breakfast staff were very diligent ensuring coffee was full and tables were clean. Overall I would book here again."

"The staff were friendly. Our room was clean for the most part, but not exactly spotless. We enjoyed having the 3 beds a 2 showers for our family of 5. I believe the room must have originally been used for something else, because it didn’t have an actual room number (115). The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was very basic and I definitely missed having hot breakfast options. The hot tub wasn’t working during our 3 night stay."
