Inconvenience

It was actually closed down when we booked to hotels.com so you can imagine the inconvenience we had to go through finding a new place right away to stay. Maybe next time, they should update all the booking site they have engaged to of their status.

This hotel has a lot if potential and a number of pluses- great grounds, nice buildings, a fishing pond, a good-sized pool, spacious well-appointed rooms and free shuttle to ferry and Nagoya Hill Shopping Mall. However. It misses the mark on several things: several incomplete services - the pool has a sunken bar but its not finished, so if you want a drink, its a long walk. The pool changing room had neither benches, nor hooks, so getting chsnged is a bit tricky, three out of four cubicles had no toilet paper, a balcony room has no balcony furniture, so why pay extra for the balcony but worst of all is the food - the cafe is your lunch and evening restaurant, but it takes an age for even a coffee to appesr and meals are poor both in quality and presrntation. I guess it all comes out of a packet or freezer - you really need to fix this....it was my birthday and the steak and chips (not golden potatoes) were not great (chip portion wasnt even generous). You seriosly need to sort this out. The menu was truly disappointing. I wish you all the best - its a lovely spot, but you really need to up your game

Definitely deserve 5 stars compliment

The environment is above our expectations, staff are very friendly, room is clean and comfortable. Some more we can get free shuttle service bring us to Sekupang ferry terminal. We had a very pleasant experience when staying at Sijori Resort. Will definitely recommend to our friends.

Beautiful but the service was below par

Stayed there from 3rd to 5th Feb 2019 in the Bungalow Deluxe King room. The room is really spacious, the property itself is beautiful but there ends the positives. When we checked-in we were given the Wifi password details but they conveniently forgot to tell us that the Wifi and telephone network was down. This was only fixed 24 hours later. The breakfast was well below average for a 4 star resort. All the food items were cold for the breakfast buffet. The Aircon in the room was weak for such a spacious room. The power in the property went off during the day and when questioned there was no clear answer as to when it would come back. Quite disappointed by the overall service and there's definitely a lot to improve. Wouldn't recommend

Nice place to relax.. however service standards has to be reviewed by the management... the front office staff was not sure of my booking when i arrived... she had to get another person to assist me in chech in... my dinner on the first night took one hour to prepare... and the food standards were not up to mark... rice was too soft and cold... the satay was too dry... gado gado was not the trafitional type... and i had to explain almost 4 times before my mineral water arrived and that to not to my expectations.

Not so pleasant

The resort is still not fully ready. Daily breakfast included but honestly nothing much. No hot water in the tub (heater not working well). Toilet was smelly. The only consolation is the internet speed was decent but they blocked Netflix due to some local restrictions. There is only one restaurant ready. Honestly I don’t think this resort can be called fully operational. Staff were friendly and English speaking.

very nice hotel with spacious rooms, comfortable and very clean, in a beautiful landscaped park. a little bit far from the city center but perfect for a stay of relaxation and rest. we also enjoyed the Sparadise. Small weak point, the cumulus of hot water too small for 2 people in the bungalow and no hot water in the spa after the massage. Despite that, we recommend this hotel if you want a holiday away from stress.

Lovely, relaxing weekend away!

We loved our weekend away at Sijori. The staff were so friendly and accomodating, they couldn't do enough for us. The facilities that are currently available are very inviting and the prospect of extra facilities gradually become more available i.e more restaurant options and the swim up pool bar is exciting. The communication process with planning i.e. pick up from the ferry was smooth and the efficiency from Singapore is a draw card. The only concern we had was that there was no wine on the menu :)

The place is quiet and relaxing. Location is less than 10mins from Sekupang Ferry Terminal and shuttle service was provided to and fro. Staff were all courteous and accommodating. We love the place. One thing to improve: shower heater was not working.

Decent hotel for relaxation trip

Booked this hotel with the aim of having a relaxing vacation. Above all, the staff in this resort are very friendly and ready to help. Room met expectations, but pool was smaller than expected; photos are slightly deceiving. As per reviews, there's only one restaurant in the resort now, which could get boring, so I had to head to nagoya for food by the second day. Location-wise: pick up from sekupang terminal was very fuss free, and took a short 5 min drive. Other than that, sijori is quite far from other attractions. Cabs are a must with this resort. I tried the fishing activity, which was slightly underwhelming, but fun nonetheless. Spent most of my time lazing in the hotel room. If booking a hotel just to relax, this is a good choice!

Good service

Service was the only thing that was good about the resort. The room is nice and clean. The deco is prettym staff was able to speak a little English Breakfast was meh. Day 1 wasn't even buffet and 2nd day was just a small buffet. About 5 dish I guess. The resort is still undergoing renovations, guess it will be better when they are all done. The fishing pond looks a bit too dead. Swimming pool was small and boring. Mini golf looks underdeveloped. There isn't anything much in the resort that was attractive. The location of the resort is very near to sekupang ferry terminal. 20-30 mins to the somewhat city of Island, Nagoya Batam. So will have to take cab everywhere. Grab is available and cheaper by a lot. Although staff is not able to provide suggestions for places to go. Overall, the resort was okay. Maybe like 3/5 due to its poor location and lack of activities or even a convinent store. Unlikely to go again unless they are done with their renovations.

Nice hotel near greenery

Basically me and nyu daughter stays for 2 nights and I really enjoyed my stay and although my daughter is just 4 years old but she likes the place very much. The place is located in nice property, rooms are spacious , hotel stuff are helpful. Food was good. Although not all the restaurants are in working condition but present one is good.
