"Lula’s was a very pleasant and convenient location. The building is very charming. The hosts were both friendly and helpful. Despite some nearby construction our overall experience was very positive. I would stay there again without hesitation. Very clean and comfortable rooms and beds and very cozy common areas on the second floor deck. "

"The location is amazing with beautiful views and the accommodations are cozy and comfortable. The place is spotless and well cared for and the food is delicious!"
"The location was fantastic. The rooms were nested into the jungle and they were very comfortable. The staff is amazing, they look after your every need. The restaurant served some the most delicious food that we ate anywhere in Panama. I would highly recommend anyone to choose this hotel."
"An amazing stay, facilitated by fabulous hosts.
The hosts began communicating about our upcoming stay several weeks in advance to arrange transportation to the property. We were met at the airport and taken to the lodge.
The jungle house is very nice, well equipped with internet, kitchen, fan, full screen for an open air experience. Each morning and afternoon we were greeted by the sounds of birds.
Unless you travel to another island you are limited to preparing your own dinner, or enjoying the reasonably priced and delicious selections each evening at the lodge. The provided breakfasts were wonderful, and reasonably priced upgrades are available.
The hosts were always available, and it was quick and easy to communicate via WhatsApp. Arranging dinner, water taxi rides or excursions.
Depending upon your room location there can be a number of stairs. Internet works okay, but would not be great if you need consistent high speed. Why would you want to be on the internet working, rather than enjoying the island life. LTE phone service is consistent. The screens and fan keep the room comfortable.
Taxi’s to other islands are $5 to $10 per person each way.
We enjoyed the quiet and natural feeling of this island, and traveled on excursions daily.
We can’t wait to return!

"Staff were great, Oliver took extra care of us and issues that arose. Great location, pool and beach were great. Using their shuttle to get around was helpful as the staff would point out sloths or red frogs and share information.

"I had a wonderful fun 3 days here .Dan and Brian are great hosts , with Dan being an exceptional chef . I highly recommend having there evening meal even though it’s served a little late for me it was worth it .The lodge is very clean and my room was huge with an upstairs bedroom and bathroom ,stairs are steep ! As the lodge is all wood the down stairs was dark with a small balcony so not really used! Yoga mats provided for self practice. I loved the location with a little walk up to the lodge . "
"Sonia and Alfred are exceptional hosts I left feeling I was saying goodbye to my family very special ! The variety, quality of wine and cocktails are another level ! Living I Costa Rica for the past 6 years i was blown away ! The accommodation, service, food, location all 10/10 . I hope to come back and share great times with you both soon muchas gracias 🙏❤️❤️❤️"
"We absolutely loved staying here. The overwater bungalows were so enjoyable to experience. The staff was very attentive and are fluent in English. Being able to swim in the water, enjoy all the wildlife, paddle boarding, and kayaking will give us plenty to do while we stayed there and the water taxis were very easy to get the staff can even help you get one if needed."
"Just returned from a fantastic 3 nights at Casa Cayuco with our family of 5. Everything, from the welcome and transfers, to the smoothies/drinks, fresh made meals with local ingredients, to the excursions far exceeded our expectations. We are a mixed Panamanian-American family, and Casa Cayuco allowed us to introduce our children to the most beautiful parts of this country. I have been to Bocas Del Toro several times, but Casa Cayuco has the strongest relationship with its indigenous neighbors of any property I have previously stayed at. We definitely plan to return. "
