"Tropical Island is great for children and a fun time out for the family. The room was okay, beds were uncomfortable. There was no soap in the bathroom with toilet. The air conditioning in the room did not work, so was quite warm and stuffy in the room."

Located right at the Marketplace Square, 5 minute walk to Tour Information center, 5 minute walk from Lutherstadt Wittenberg Alstadt train station. In the heart of the historic district. Warm and Friendly staff that offered wonderful guidance. Large comfortable room. Felt safe and secure. "

"Rooms weren’t very clean. Ants in the room for example. Staff weren’t very friendly upon check in. We came in at 6.30pm and asked if we could eat in the restaurant. We hardly was allowed dinner as they were closing down. So we rushed through dinner and generally didn’t feel very welcome. Beds were poor and rooms felt very old. And it wasn’t even very affordable. Not coming back. "
