"Amazing stay from start to finish. My mother has mobility issues and uses a mobility scooter. The staff were brilliant with this - carrying it in and out, and charging it up for her. The room was spotless, large and well appointed and the breakfast was amazing. Big thank you to Beata on reception and the others who were so friendly and helpful during our stay. Would not hesitate to recommend Dean Court to anyone visiting York."

"The location is excellent. The hotel is generally nice but if you look closely is a bit grubby in places -skirtings, behind the doors and daily room service. The shower was over a bath and it was very deep which made it difficult to get in and out. There was an aircon unit which was so noisy it couldn't be used. Breakfast was good and overall we had a good stay."

"Very nice hotel. Our room was downstairs under the reception with a very comfortable king bed and a lovely furniture. Nice bathroom with a very good shower but the sink drain pipe was leaking into a drawer underneath which was being damaged by the leak and the floor became very wet. The breakfast was very delicious. We chose an omelet with smoked salmon from the menu and there was also a buffet with a delicious Yorkshire ham, cheeses, salads, fruit, pastry and cereals so plenty of food to choose from. Very close to City Walls and Bootham Bar."

"The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, the meals we had were lovely. It was busy on the Saturday evening and just one bar man on meant he was rushing between the bar and restaurant, he could have done with extra staff to help him. The toilet was difficult to flush and the extractor fan didn't work. We still enjoyed our stay."
