Property is in dire need of an update. Rooms are very simple and outdated. It is no more than a 2 star hotel

Everything was good, the pictures on website are misleading, their pool isn’t actually a pool it’s like 2 little tanks to take a dip. Staff was nice, room was clean, breakfast was fine (it was included in the stay).

I typically stay at another hotel in BAQ but there was a big football game so most of the rooms in the city were already booked. Staff and check in was great! Observed the following issues: Rooms very old. Ants in the room. Only a thin sheet on the bed and when I turned it back there was a big hair as if they had not changed the sheets. Room was in poor condition. Grout missing and tiles cracked in the bathroom and bathroom door would not close properly. No hot water in the shower. Breakfast was so so. I probably was expecting a lot more as the price was more than I typically pay at my usual hotel but I think they raised the price because of the football. Fortunately, I only stayed one night and checked into my normal hotel the next day. My normal 3 star hotel felt like a 5 star!

It is more like a hostel type.

The hotel is more close to a Hostel than a hotel, the beds are extremely uncomfortable the hotel is very tired a and old.

I have been here for exactly 3 hours now and could not wait to start writing my review. I stayed at this hotel 13 years ago when it was called Hotel Caribe Princess. I can say it has not changed one bit. The rooms are so outdated. The smell of age is in the air once you enter the room. From the 1980s furniture to a 19"" dumb tv. Bed as hard as a rock. They don't have a clue what customer service is. I ask for an additional towel 10 minutes after I entered the room and I just went and reminded the girl at the front desk for the third time that I was still waiting. She seems oblivious to what is going on. I'm using my translator with her so I know she understands. She just tells me it will be delivered to my room. Never was. Maybe she just doesn't care. As you can see in my photos it's 6 PM on Monday evening and the bar and restaurant is closed. In the other photo, you see the extent of the service that they provide for drinks in the lobby. I can fit more drinks in my refrigerator at home. no variety whatsoever. I read in someone else's review when you're inside your room. You can hear everything that goes on in the next room and down the hallway. Very true. They won't leave you two keys to the room so you can leave the air-conditioning on when you're away so when you come back, it's stifling hot in your room, so you have to wait 30 minutes for it to cool down. I guess they don't want to use any electric when you're not in the room.
Look at the line for check in. One girl behind the counter, slow as molasses.
5 PM and the restaurant/bar is closed.

Siempre me he quedado en este hotel cuando llego a Barranquilla, la habitación estuvo bien, pero en esta ocasión el servicio del desayuno estuvo demorado, por poco casi el último día me voy sin tomarlo. Los precios han ido en aumento, quizás no le ví inconveniente porque me ha ido bien en ese lugar, pero esta última experiencia me hace pensar en escoger otras opciones cuando regrese.

Hay que estar pendiente en cuanto al cobro del IVA. Me cobraron el doble del valor y al reclamar me decían que era el IVA pero no me cuadraba el valor. Al final me devolvieron lo que Cobraron de más sin problema pero el que no sepa se deja cobrar de más. Yo reservé una habitación para dos personas con cama queen y me dieron una sencilla después de hacer el reclamo me dieron otra habitación. Al día siguiente que estaba en la nueva habitación me di cuenta q había dejado unas sandalias y se supone que tenían que haber hecho un buen aseo para los próximos huéspedes y me tocó pedir que si no había nadie me abrieran la habitación y estaban debajo de la cama donde las había dejado…. Osea por ahí se puede ver la deficiencia del aseo en dichas habitaciones. Muchas cosas por mejorar pero es un hotel que sin duda no volveré.

Mala experiencia

El hotel deja mucho que desear, las habitaciones son pesimas, mobiliario de mala calidad, en el restaurante, para tomar el desayuno solo habilitan 6 mesas y a esa hora hay mucha gente que debe iniciar sus actividades temprano y hay que esperar. Al hacer en check-in le cobran el IVA adicional a la tarifa de la aplicación. La atención no fue buena, en general no lo recomiendo, por el precio hay mejores opciones.
