Not all rooms have a toaster or microwave and Wotif doesn’t include an indication of what rooms are on ground level or have these. So best to check the actual venue information on their direct website first as they are at an increased rate if you need to change. You will also need to enquire if the shower is over/in a (disconnected) spa, if you require an accessible shower.
I would enquire about daily room servicing/cleaning as there are some permanent residents and their rooms are not serviced daily. It appeared from when I approached (one) cleaning staff for more coffee and milk and to advise they did not need to make up my room, they thought I was a permanent resident by the response I received. The supervisor then approached the staff member admonishing her within earshot of me for providing me more coffee and milk. All bar one cleaning staff member were very approachable and helpful."
