"The welcome from the the Receptionist was excellent ensured we had a suitable room to meet our needs. Hotel room was very clean and beautifully decorated. The room was heated individually, controlled in the room. Breakfast was excellent lots of hot and cold choices. Highly recommend especially due to the onsite parking which is a bonus in York. All the staff are very polite and friendly."

"Had two nights in a family room whilst visiting York, which can be easily accessed by car in minutes. The ground-floor room was clean, spacious and very well appointed, with a large TV and a small but perfectly formed bathroom boasting an array of hand-wash, shower gel, shampoo and separate conditioner! Breakfast was excellent, though options for evening dining were limited. That said, we enjoyed a couple of lovely meals at the nearby Cross Keys pub, where it was possible to reserve a table. Would most definitely consider Stableside at York Races again if visiting York by car."
