" Country road unamed , Speeders 50 / 60 mph plus used as a rat run . Not safe for walking out with dog or young child . Property nice but dog has to go too up side of road as no garden . "The staff are always very pleasant and helpful, and check-in is smooth and friendly every time. Unfortunately, I’ve been disappointed with housekeeping on my last few stays. I’ve left the “Clean My Room” tag on the door when leaving in the morning, but returned to find the tag still there and the room untouched. I have mentioned this previously at reception, but sadly it doesn’t seem to have improved. Apart from this issue, I absolutely love staying here."

"Good located hotel. While no frills, rooms are of a very high standard. Comfortable. Cool / warm. Well made luxury bathroom. Compact but high quality. Convenient for public transport / walking. All major city centre attractions within walking distance. Tram Stop just outside hotel with 2 to choose from. Direct connection to Sheffield station direct onto platform footbridge"

"The room was clean and so was the communal areas. Location good for the ice rink, hence the selection of the hotel. Downside - I booked as it was advertised as budget but there are all the hidden extras. Breakfast was extra at £8.50 each and was only a two types of cold pastries, limited cereal, toast and a couple of toppings. Not worth £8.50. No kettles or tea/coffee in rooms - that you had to pay for but the hot water downstairs was complimentary which you had to carry upstairs if you wanted a drink in your room. I had to buy tea and some milk in order to have a drink in my room. No hairdryers or anything in the rooms at all. Just a bed and two thin towels. There was shower gel in the shower though. NO FREE PARKING - I had to pay £17.50 to park at the hotel for two nights. On the plus side - the room was functional, the beds were comfy and the water was hot but no room to spin a cat and the shower and sink are right next to the bed. So whilst it's advertised at budget, all the extras I had to pay for made it not budget at all and wished I'd booked at the Premier Inn opposite."

"Room is a good size, clean and has air conditioning (though it's not easy to get it to cool the room). Shower and bathroom are both well appointed but the bed was a bit soft and sunk in the middle. I received a message from the hotel before arriving letting me know where the car park was and that the overnight fee agreed with the car park company would be £9 for 24 hours, however on leaving I was charged £11. Not a huge difference but might be worth updating your records as some people will likely complain about the difference (I arrived at the car park at around 11:30am and left the next morning by 09:30am so less than 24 hours)."
