"This is as good as you will find in Assomada. It is quite the shock to leave the street and find tile floors and hard-wood hand-carved doors. It is very clean. It is not luxury by Western standards, but it was comfortable and inviting. Wi-fi is available, but difficult and slow."

"Auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert. Wir waren vom Hotel positiv überrascht. Ausgewählt hatten wir die Bleibe wegen der Hafennähe und ein Zimmer mit eigenem Bad gebucht. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Morgens um 6:30 Uhr stand das Frühstücksbuffet bereit. In 5 Minuten ist man zu Fuß am Fähranleger. Unser Zimmer war geräumig und sauber. Vor allem war es in der Nacht ruhig. Bei anderen Hotels hörte man aus der Ferne lautstarke Musik - und das noch am Morgen, als bei uns der Wecker klingelte. Wir...

"Die Farinha de Pau ist nicht mit anderen Unterkünften vergleichbar. Es ist ein Eco-Project, und genau das wurde vor Ort umgesetzt. Für die Häuser und die Einrichtungen wurden bereits vorhandene Materialien genutzt, z.B. Paletten als Untergestell der Betten mit guten Matratzen oder die Nutzung des örtlichen Lehms für die Wände. Die Unterkunft ist einfach, und angenehm sauber. Die herzliche Gästebetreuung durch Sergio und Simone und die Verpflegung zu Frühstück und Abendessen durch Simones...

"The location is great right in center of town, but not at all loud. The service was great and friendly, and the room was clean. The main issue, like so often in Cape Verde, were the very uncomfortable beds."

"I liked everything about this hotel.The cleanliness, the atmosphere, the view, the service and the professional staff. The breakfast buffet had a great variety to choose from. The octopus cremosa plate that I had for dinner was so delicious!"

"The rooms were very clean and the beds very comfortable. There is a nice walk along the promenade to Santa Maria which takes about 10-15 minutes. The staff are very friendly and work tirelessly entertaining the guests. The food is tasty and presented nicely. I'd definitely recommend the cocktails"

"Not aesthetically all that, but very clean and comfortable and very central to every where you’d want to go. The staff are the most amazing people I’ve come across. I had a casual chat with Kipsa( I hope I spelt it well ) and mentioned it was my birthday. He got the kitchen to make me a birthday cake which made my day and made me feel at home. Would 100% recommend "

Hilton Cabo Verde Sal Resort

"Hilton Cabo Verde is an excellent location for families. We enjoyed 7 nights here and had a great time especially the access to a quiet, clean, and beach with turquoise water. There was even a centre for scuba diving activities. We also managed to use the spa and get some great massages esp as we got the July discount. Rooms are spacious and well kept. "

"It’s a great hotel, excellent value for the money. Hotel is located very central and doesn’t have a private beach, what means that at the beach club anyone can come and take sun loungers as long as they pay, which is fine just something to be aware of if you are looking for a private beach. Hotel is really clean everywhere and there is staff making sure it’s staying that way. Massage at the hotel is very good too. Buffer breakfast is average which is expected. Overall it’s a great hotel. It also have a guest pick up option from the airport which is great priced. "
